Poem: Ways To React To People's Rudeness And Disrespect

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful 

💌 Five ways to deal with people's rudeness and disrespect - 

How to cope with species whose morals are pathetic, 

Who mistreat you when their expectations aren't met, 

Who act passive-aggressive when they're hurt or upset, 

Or lack of ethics is their way to feel safeguarded:

One: Know that there are others who've been disrespected, 

Like Allah's Prophets, including Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) 

Who often encountered harms from the polytheists 

And hypocrites who want Muslims to be defeated. 

When people's goals and traits clash, conflict is expected.

Two: People's hatred may be from Allah's myriad tests, 

To train patience, and for Sabr you'll be rewarded. 

Three: Learn from them. Their misdeeds are to be avoided. 

Don't bother copying their foul characteristics. 

Be glad you're not the one morally poor and distressed.

Four: Sympathize. Maybe they seem rude as they're jealous, 

Stressed, or about basic manners uneducated. 

Five: Reject the urge to duplicate their low tactics. 

While they're mean and gossipy, you stay kind. Don't gossip.

Don't be an insecure troll who's full of bitterness.

Respecting all doesn't require spoiling them with gifts 

Or attention, but it's to ensure they're not oppressed. 

Strive to treat others the way you'd want to be treated.

If you can't practice kindness, then at least don't oppress, 

As a Muslim, not one of those badly brought up kids.

📖 Anas Ibn Malik RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said to me, "Young man, if you are able every morning and evening to remove any malice in your heart towards anyone, do so." Then, the Prophet SallAllahu' alaihi wa sallam said to me, "Young man, that is my Sunnah. Whoever revives my Sunnah has loved me, and whoever loves me will be with me in Paradise."

We said, “O Messenger of Allah, we know truthful in speech. What is a heart swept clean?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "One that is mindful of Allah and pure, in which there is no sin, nor aggression, nor envy." We said, “Who shows a sign of it?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "One who hates worldliness and loves the Hereafter." They said, “And who shows a sign of it?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "A believer with good character."

Poem: Allah The Most Wise Already Decreed Your Sustenance, Rizq And Provisions

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Know that, as a Muslim, everything has been decreed - 

How much income you'd receive, how much you'd drink and eat, 

What you can afford, what you'd consume, who you would feed, 

What gifts you'd give and to whom, and what you'd take freely - 

Your rizq is written, and part of Qadr/destiny.

Those dishes you enjoyed at gatherings and parties, 

Meals you ate which were cooked by loved ones generously, 

Food you fully finished despite not being tasty,

And snacks given by some friends, even reluctantly - 

Were all decreed by Allah, and part of destiny.

Canned foods you bought for yourself but then you so kindly 

Used them to grant sustenance to stray cats in the streets, 

Edibles you've dropped because you slipped or were clumsy, 

And meals you aspired to devour but couldn't complete - 

Were all planned by Allah. Accept Qadr/destiny. 

~•~

Huge amount of food savored by those who seem greedy, 

Takeouts taken by visitors in large quantities, 

Neighbors or passersby who picked fruits from trees for free, 

And servings of your meal which you shared begrudgingly - 

Were all meant for them. Allah designed their destiny.

~•~

Next time you go through moments when "fairness" seems unclear, 

When you wonder, "I just got few. And them? Too many!" 

Or wish, "If only everyone on earth were wealthy", 

Recall, Allah distributed His blessings fairly. 

Increase Du'as to hopefully improve destiny.

📖 Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam, narrated to us for he is the truthful and the trusted, "Verily, the creation of each one of you is brought together in his mother’s womb for forty days as a drop, then he is a clot for a similar period, then a morsel for a similar period, then there is sent to him the angel who blows the spirit into him and he is commanded regarding four matters: To write down his provision (rizq), his life span, his deeds, and whether he is unhappy or happy. By Allah, other than whom there is no God, one of you acts like the people of Paradise until he is but an arm’s length from it, and what is written overtakes him so he acts like the people of Hellfire and he enters it. Verily, one of you acts like the people of Hellfire until he is but an arm’s length from it, and what is written overtakes him so he acts like the people of Paradise and he enters it."

Poem: What Actual Happiness On Eid Means

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Actual happiness on Eid doesn't really imply 

Feeling "relieved" that the days of fasting have gone by, 

"Thrilled" that Taraweeh is no longer prayed or required, 

And "eager" to resume sins that were paused for a while, 

Like one bids Ramadan "farewell" and tells shaytan "hi!".

Don't make Eid a "welcome back party" for Allah's foe, 

By returning the Mushaf on shelves just for decor, 

Viewing Qur'an reading in other months as a chore, 

Listening to songs, watching indecent films galore, 

Or making yourself believe gossip isn't abhorred.

~•~

Don't satisfy nor entertain shaytan by acting 

Immoral as though not one progress and improvement 

Can be seen in you after you've spent some days fasting. 

One would be pleasing shaytan if they keep committing 

Wrongdoings on purpose like stealing and backbiting.

True joy on Eid can be felt by those who did their best 

In spending Ramadan rightly, on acts of worship, 

Reading Qur'an often, spreading good vibes and kindness, 

Seeking Allah's Forgiveness for the sins that one did, 

And striving to have one's faith strengthened and nafs guarded.

~•~

Happiness on Eid isn't in dancing and music, 

Not in reconnecting with haraam relationships 

And reconciling with deeds that are prohibited. 

Happy are those whose Tawbah and fasts are accepted,

And good deeds they continue bring inner happiness.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The five prayers, Friday to Friday, and Ramadan to Ramadan will expiate the sins committed between them, as long as the major sins are avoided."

Ibn Al-Qayyim said, “It is said that the reason he did this was to greet the people with peace who lived on both fairways, or so that the blessings of his passing would reach both areas, or to fulfill the needs of those among them. It is said that he did so to establish the symbols of Islam in the various roads and paths. Another reason given is that he SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam did so to frustrate the hypocrites when they witnessed the might of Islam and its people. It is said that he did so in order for the various areas to testify to his obedience to Allah. Surely, he who walks to the mosque and the place of prayer will earn this virtue: One step raises him a degree and another erases a sin until he returns home. It is also said, and this is the correct opinion, that all the reasons mentioned here are possible as well as other unknown wisdom that always accompanied his actions.”

📖 Al-Miqdad Ibn Al-Aswad RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, the happy person is the one kept away from tribulations (from fitna), the happy person is the one kept away from tribulations, the happy person is the one kept away from tribulations, yet excellent is the one who is afflicted and bears it patiently."

Tips: Some Notes Regarding Eid Al-Fitr

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

🗒️ Summarized notes regarding Eid Al-Fitr: 

1] Make sure you have paid the Zakat Al-Fitr before praying the two Rak'ahs of Eid prayer.

2] Start saying the Takbeeraat once it has been announced that the next day is Eid. ("Allahu Akbar" 3 times "Laa ilaaha ilAllah" once. "Allahu Akbar" twice. "Wa Lillaahil Hamd.")

3] Take the ghusl bath, perform wudhu/ablution then wear washed garments if you were unable to buy new clothes for Eid.

4] Eat an odd number of dates (3, 5 or 7 etc.) 

5] Continue saying the Takbeeraat until the Imam begins the Eid prayers. 

6] There are seven Takbeeraat in the first Rak'ah and five Takbeeraat in the second Rak'ah. It is closer to the Sunnah of the beloved Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam to recite Surah Al-A'laa after Surah Al-Fatiha in the first Rak'ah and then Surah Al-Ghaashiyah after Surah Al-Fatiha in the second Rak'ah.

7] Attentively listen to the Eid Khutbah/sermon/lecture instead of browsing through your cellphone or chatting with the persons nearby while the Imam is lecturing. 

8] If you are praying in a field, outdoors or Masjid, try to take a different route from where you first entered the prayer area. 

9] Spend quality time with some of your family, relatives and friends for Allah's sake or send them some Eid greetings.
