Poem: A Few Tips On Dealing With Awkward Moments

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Some tips on how to deal with awkward situations,
How to keep cool, defeat feelings of embarrassment,
And seem confident or unfazed when some are laughing
At you or blushing when embarrassing things happen,
As you're here to serve Allah, not amuse His servants:
~•~
When you stumble or slip while you're casually walking,
Rise back up and confidently continue moving.
If you're surrounded by friends or spectators staring,
Wave your right hand and greet them with dashing confidence,
Or resume strolling like your fall is not a problem.
~•~
If you're in a group, and wish to ask or say something,
But nobody seemed to hear your question or statement,
Repeat it but with louder and clearer utterance,
Or calmly sigh and tell yourself "oh well..." from within,
"Maybe Allah wants that I skip it and stay silent.".
~•~
If an item fell while you were holding tons of things,
Or portions of a dish dropped while serving or eating,
And some cringe at your clumsiness in most gatherings,
Laugh about it, or embrace the fact you're different.
How Allah sees us matters more than what His slaves think.
~•~
Understand you're human, with flaws and imperfections.
Other humans too go through awkward moments often.
Learn from your mistakes and people's random shortcomings.
Allah may grant awkwardness as a hidden blessing
To always seek His Guidance and avoid arrogance.
~•~
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.' Rather say: "Allah has decreed what He wills." Verily, the phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of shaytan."

Poem: Signs That A Much Older Person Is Jealous Of You

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Three obvious signs that an elder person envies you,
Whether they're your aunt who can't admit they're insecure,
A teacher who doesn't want you to succeed at school,
A professor who finds faults with many things you do,
Or an older cousin who disdains what you value:
~•~
First sign: Despite being older, they seem immature.
They'd go out of their way to spoil your plans and good moods,
Make you feel ignored online and offline, and exclude
You from events while they invite friends you know and knew,
And, all in all, they treat you in a manner that's rude.
~•~
Second: Since they're jealously threatened by your virtues
And your confidence or strong faith frightens their repute,
Sincere advice and tips towards success they refuse
To share, in spite of having done the same things you do.
Envy prevents them from wanting to see you improve.
~•~
Third: They're quiet when you thrive or express gratitude,
Yet as soon as they spot mistakes in the things you do,
They quickly criticize you, ridicule and rebuke,
As if your faults and failures rejuvenate their mood.
Intense jealousy proves they're not morally mature.
~•~
How to deal with an older person who envies you:
Firstly, thank Allah that you're unlike them - insecure.
Jealous souls are unhappy from inside, that's for sure.
Withhold secrets from them, and convos with them reduce.
Maintain grateful, composed, and confident attitude.

Poem: To Receive Allah's Mercy, Don't Cut Off Ties With Your Family And Relatives Purposely

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 In the past many from the pious had enemies
And critics from their own flesh and blood, their families,
Who opposed them due to a difference in beliefs,
Who refused to support them because of jealousy,
And who abandoned them despite being family.
~•~
From them were Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) who was unjustly
Rebuked by Abu Lahab who stuck to misbelief,
Ibrahim ('alaihis salaam) who tried to advise his father kindly,
Nuh ('alaihis salaam) who did his best to save his son from fallacies,
And Yusuf ('alaihis salaam) who put up with his half-brothers' envy.
~•~
So if you receive unkind treatment from some aunties,
If you've been the victim of some cousins' mockery,
If you have a sibling who despises your hobbies,
A child who often deals with you disrespectfully,
Or loved ones who ignore you online and locally,
~•~
Maintain ties with them for Allah's sake courageously
With patience applied sincerely and consistently.
Say salaam to them and respond whenever they greet,
Don't act like you didn't see them when you're in the streets,
And grant them what they need whenever you have the means.
~•~
From contacting you don't prevent them arrogantly,
And unblock them if you've blocked their accounts previously.
Try to visit them when you have the ability,
Advise them when you can and pray for them frequently.
Maintain family ties to deserve Allah's Mercy.

Upon this the Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: "If it is so as you say, then it is as if you are throwing hot ashes (upon them) and there would always remain with you on behalf of Allah (an Angel to support you) who would keep you dominant over them so long as you adhere to this (path of righteousness)."

Poem: Clear Signs Of Jealous People Even If They Deny Their Jealousy

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Not every adult would admit they're jealous of you,

Since envy shows they feel inferior and insecure,

Unsatisfied with Allah's Qadr, awfully consumed

With jealousy that provokes them to be foul and rude.

~•~

Signs that indicate someone's feeling very jelly:

You're not friends online yet they stalk you quite hatefully,

Scanning your posts for mistakes and inaccuracies,

And searching for your mishaps to laugh at miserably.

~•~

They claim you're a "narcissist", that you're "full of yourself",

When you're trying to educate, motivate or help.

The light within your heart intimidates their dark selves

And your bright confidence only causes them to wilt.

~•~

These envious darkened hearts that breed their own sadness

Typically use people as topics for cheap gossip.

Too cowardly to confront you, they get all quiet

When you glance at their scowls that show they're lost in unrest.

~•~

Feel sorry for those guilty of crab mentality

Who question Allah's Wisdom and Qadr/Destiny,

Who grant you some of their good deeds each time they envy

Or carry your sins when they mistreat you jealously.

We said, “O Messenger of Allah, we know truthful in speech. What is a heart swept clean?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "One that is mindful of Allah and pure, in which there is no sin, nor aggression, nor envy." We said, “Who shows a sign of it?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "One who hates worldliness and loves the Hereafter." Note: On The Virtues Of The First Ten Days Of Dhul-Hijjah

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
📜 Question: Which is better, the last ten nights of Ramadan, or the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah?
📝 Answer: The last ten nights of Ramadan are better in terms of doing good deeds at night, particularly since Laylatul Qadr takes place in one of these nights. The first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are better in terms of doing good deeds in the daytime, because Yawm 'Arafah occurs on the ninth day and it is followed by the day of sacrifice (Yawm An-Nahr, a term also referring to Eid Al-Adha), and these two are from the best days of the year. This is what has been deduced according to the majority of trusted scholars and students of knowledge.
So the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah are better concerning doing good deeds for Allah's sake during daylight, while the last ten nights of Ramadan are better with regard to doing good deeds for Allah's sake in the evening, as in it is Laylatul Qadr and those nights are the best nights of the year.
Allah the Almighty knows best.
From the Fataawa of sheikh AbdulAziz Ibn Baz (May Allah have mercy on him. Ameen.)

📖 Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "No good deeds can be done at a time better than these first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah." It was said, “Not even striving in the way of Allah?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Not even striving in the way of Allah."

Then, the Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam was asked about fasting the day of Ashura (10th of Muharram) and he SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "It will expiate the sins of the past year."
