Poem: How To Move On From Broken Friendships

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Don't cling to people; you're not a monkey, they're not trees.

Some "friendships" ending are part of what Allah decrees.

They teach us not to trust humans, they're temporary,

And we're trained to have more patience when they disappear.

~•~

Why weep over ex-friends? Life doesn't depend on them.

They don't pay rent, they don't breastfeed nor grant nourishment,

And from what they did best were abusing your feelings,

Gossiping, lying, and envying your achievements.

~•~

When you're no longer in touch, it's fine to shed some tears,

But don't hate yourself for journeys that Allah decreed.

Note: You're no monkey nor koala, and they're not trees.

Some souls are like dark clouds; life gets brighter once they leave.

~•~

Wave goodbye to their late replies, mean indifference,

Adios and annyeong to their unpleasant influence,

Imagined tarpaulin with the word "Farewell" written

To walk away from nonsense with determination.

~•~

Listen, you're not arrogant by choosing to detach

From those who disturb you, distance you from Allah's Love,

And who can't like you back. Forgive them. Move on. Stay tough.

For years we survived without them. Allah is Enough.

Poem: Tips To Deal With Unlawful "Love" And Crushes

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 It's not a crime to fall in love with certain people,
As emotions can't always be put under control.
What's wrong is acting upon feelings that are doubtful,
Not lowering your gaze, staring at attractive souls,
Flirting often until passion becomes physical.
~•~
How do crushes happen? Not all are explainable,
But developing a crush with time is possible.
The more you find that special someone relatable,
Or the more you discover how they're desirable,
The more your heart feels vibes that are uncomfortable...
~•~
Unwelcoming for a soul that knows it's unlawful,
To have fantasies in a way that is immoral
With the one whom you consider irresistible.
While it's okay to admire them, keep it minimal,
And don't act upon how you feel, to avoid trouble.
~•~
That Allah is testing you with love it's possible.
Allah wants to test if you can stay chaste and faithful.
With Taqwa and firm Imaan you can pass this trial.
Don't sacrifice Jannah for joys that are temporal.
Frequent thoughts of death defeat desires that are evil.
~•~
When you're "in love" with some, think "maybe it's hormonal."
Or it's shaytan enticing you to be more sinful,
To imagine doing what's unimaginable
With multiple crushes who are beyond 'likable'.
When one-sided, this type of "love" can be too hurtful.
~•~
With trust in Allah, strive to have your feelings controlled.
Your list of "secret crushes" don't let anyone know,
Because even close friends may someday have them exposed.
You're one tough fighter as you battle against your soul,
Ensuring your body doesn't do what's not halal.
~•~
To shield yourself from fitna, don't go where your crush goes.
If you have to work with them, don't make your convos long.
Though it's hard to deny your attraction and withhold,
Recall Allah's Love is more important than this world.
Don't let crushes distract you from Jannah your main goal.

Poem: Praying Tahajjud Once In A While Is Better Than Not Praying It At All

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 If you have a habit of praying Qiyaam Al-Layl

And frequent Tahajjud keeps you at peace from inside,

You know what it feels like to miss it on certain nights,

Like you're missing something though you pray Fajr on time.

~•~

The distress in missing out on Tahajjud's blessings

Is more than missing your flight, exclusion from meetings,

And dismissal from a long-awaited appointment.

You wonder, "What did I do that kept me from praying?"

~•~

That's one way to know if you're close to Allah or not,

When most would sleep while Allah inspires you to wake up

To find comfort in Him (Allah) through heartfelt Du'as,

And Qiyaam Al-Layl is more calming than casual chats.

~•~

Perhaps when you sleep longer, when you fail to get up,

And you face the day with some bit of guilt in your heart,

You're reminded you're human, you get tired and whatnot,

And you're trained not to disdain those not righteous enough.

~•~

So thank Allah for His favors, honor His Mercy,

Do good deeds sincerely for Allah consistently.

When shaytan wants you to view Allah negatively,

Stay firm, as a Muslim, at least you pray and believe.

~•~

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Our Lord (Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) descends to the lowest heaven in the last third of every night, and He says: 'Who is calling upon Me, so that I may answer him? Who is asking from Me, so that I may give him? Who is seeking My Forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?'"

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Allah the Almighty said: 'Whoever shows hostility (enmity) to a righteous friend of Mine, I have declared war upon him. My servant does not grow closer to Me with anything more beloved to Me than the obligatory duties that I have imposed upon him. My servant continues to grow closer to Me with extra good works (nawaafil deeds like praying Tahajjud and fasting Sunnah fasts) until I love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask something from Me, I would surely give it to him. Were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant it to him. I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death and I hate to disappoint him.'"

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The first action for which a servant of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers. If they are in order, he will have prospered and succeeded. If they are lacking, he will have failed and lost. If there is something defective in his obligatory prayers, then Allah the Almighty will say: 'See if My servant has any voluntary prayers that can complete what is insufficient in his obligatory prayers.' The rest of his deeds will be judged the same way."

Poem: Sincerity And Consistency Are Important When Doing Good For Allah's Sake

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Allah's Mercy is greater than your mom's love for you.
Don't be too hard on yourself. Do good deeds you can do,
Sincerely, consistently, and with faith that stays true,
Steadfast for Allah's sake, with patience and gratitude.
~*~
When there are days you pray Fajr late due to fatigue,
When you delay some prayers each time you oversleep,
Or lack of focus during Salah makes you repeat,
Compensate with Sunnah prayers, and refuse to quit.
~*~
When your eyes have witnessed things they're not supposed to see,
When your ears listened to what they're not allowed to hear,
Or you spoke in a way that good Muslims shouldn't speak,
Seek Allah's Forgiveness. Replace past sins with good deeds.
~*~
Don't be too hard on yourself. Know Allah can forgive.
Remember you're human, not designed to be perfect.
Whenever you sin, slip or fall, don't remain upset.
Return to Allah, and do Tawbah to pass His tests.
~*~
Being Muslim doesn't mean you never commit sins,
But when a mistake is made you rush to repentance,
Striving to deserve Jannah despite falling often,
Refusing to stop, knowing Allah is Forgiving.
~*~
