Tips: Some Notes Regarding Eid Al-Fitr

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

🗒️ Summarized notes regarding Eid Al-Fitr:
1] Make sure you have paid the Zakat Al-Fitr before praying the two Rak'ahs of Eid prayer.
2] Start saying the Takbeeraat once it has been announced that the next day is Eid. ("Allahu Akbar" 3 times "Laa ilaaha ilAllah" once. "Allahu Akbar" twice. "Wa Lillaahil Hamd.")
3] Take the ghusl bath, perform wudhu/ablution then wear washed garments if you were unable to buy new clothes for Eid.
4] Eat an odd number of dates (3, 5 or 7 etc.)
5] Continue saying the Takbeeraat until the Imam begins the Eid prayers.
6] There are seven Takbeeraat in the first Rak'ah and five Takbeeraat in the second Rak'ah. It is closer to the Sunnah of the beloved Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam to recite Surah Al-A'laa after Surah Al-Fatiha in the first Rak'ah and then Surah Al-Ghaashiyah after Surah Al-Fatiha in the second Rak'ah.
7] Attentively listen to the Eid Khutbah/sermon/lecture instead of browsing through your cellphone or chatting with the persons nearby while the Imam is lecturing.
8] If you are praying in a field, outdoors or Masjid, try to take a different route from where you first entered the prayer area.
9] Spend quality time with some of your family, relatives and friends for Allah's sake or send them some Eid greetings.

Poem: Aspire To Sincerely Repent For Allah's Sake From All Sins

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Before this noble month Ramadan goes, let's intend
To sincerely repent for Allah's sake from all sins,
Aspiring to be better than before, as Muslims,
While aware we're not fully free from imperfections.
We're not perfect, yet Allah loves those who keep striving.
~•~
Earnestly aspire from now on to quit backbiting,
To abandon the urge to look down on a Muslim,
To ensure when a promise is made it's not broken,
To not ignore salaams despite how one is feeling,
And to stop knowingly lying even if joking.
~•~
Eagerly look forward to quitting foul addiction
To listening to songs, staring at obscene content,
And getting carried away by constant daydreaming
About one's crushes or wishful haraam relations.
Replace bad thoughts with Istighfaar and supplications.
~•~
Be determined to leave wicked traits like arrogance
Which stops one from forgiving and apologizing,
Unjust suspicion without definite evidence,
Discontentment with Qadr that leads to comparing
One's life to others' tests and envying their blessings.
~•~
Before blessed Ramadan departs, have firm intention
To again repent to Allah the Most Forgiving.
Ask Allah for guidance, steadfast faith, patience, more strength,
Protection from fitna and immoral temptations,
And if we fail some tests, pray we're always forgiven.
~•~

Poem: Importance Of Respecting One's Parents Especially One's Mom And Why We Don't Celebrate "Mother's Day" As Muslims

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 To Muslims whose moms are still alive and reached old age:
From the traits of true Muslims is we don't imitate
The ways and traditions of those who don't share our faith.
Innovated events like "birthdays" and "mother's day"
Are occasions that guided Muslims don't celebrate.
~•~
There's no need to go shopping to buy a gift or cake,
Not a duty to give a card to commemorate
So-called "mother's day" nor go with your mom on fun dates,
Once a year to show your love, when every single day
And night you should respect your mother for Allah's sake.
~•~
To each Muslim, like myself, whose mother passed away,
Whether she left with a farewell or it was too late:
Firstly, it was destined. Allah decreed her death's date.
Instead of writing letters she can't read in her grave,
Pray for her often. In sweet Du'as mention her name.
~•~
No need to upload her photos every other day
With sentimental messages to appreciate
The person who loved bringing you up despite her aches.
On your mom's behalf do charity, and Hajj someday,
And regularly include her when you supplicate.
~•~
So what if many people celebrate "mother's day"?
Allah's faithful servants strive to avoid what He hates.
If ever you showed disrespect in your teenage days
To your parents, do Tawbah, reform to compensate,
Share their good works, speak well of them, pray for them always.

Allah will say: 'This is due to your child seeking forgiveness for you.'"

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: A man asked the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam “Who is most deserving of my good company?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Your mother." The man asked, “Then who?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said "Your mother." The man asked again, “Then who?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Your mother." Poem: How To Deal With Non-Muslims, As A Muslim

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Some notes on how to interact well with non-Muslims,
Whether they're non-Muslim relatives, colleagues, students,
Neighbors, strangers, salespersons, or casual acquaintance:
One: Treat them decently. Know they're Allah's creation.
Use mercy and justice in your general dealings.
~•~
Do your best to maintain good manners when they're present,
And when they're absent, refrain from needless gossiping.
With Muslims or non-Muslims, Allah is still watching,
While nearby at all times, there are angels recording.
Abstain from all forms of injustice and oppression.
~•~
Two: If you like them, if they happen to be loved ones,
If their well-mannered conduct invites admiration,
Then do them a favor, show them the true religion,
Share with them your knowledge of Islam and right guidance,
And mention them in Du'as, pray that Allah guides them.
~•~
Recall the Sahabas (RadhiAllahu 'anhum). Most started as non-Muslims,
Formerly they abhorred and showed fierce opposition
To Allah's Messenger Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) and the Muslims,
Until Allah the Most Kind saved them from misguidance,
Enlightened them and promised them with Jannah's entrance.
~•~
Three: While treating non-Muslims with civilized treatment,
Value your faith and don't stray from Islamic teachings.
Don't partake in their festivals and celebrations,
Because you're a Muslim, not because you're arrogant.
True good character is also kind invitation.

Poem: Good Intentions In Marrying Can Guarantee A Blessed Marriage Life

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 When you marry for Allah, complete half of your Deen,
And through marriage you wish to preserve your chastity,
Marriage life, with Allah's Will, won't be temporary,
It can go on until Jannah for eternity.
~•~
Through completing half of your Deen you embrace patience,
Sabar in serving your spouse, Sabar in his absence,
Sabar when other couples tempt you to comparing,
Staying strong as a loyal wife without complaining.
~•~
Through marriage life you're also taught about gratitude,
Grateful for every kindness your husband has shown you,
Appreciating his good traits even if they're few,
Thankful for sweet moments when he proves his love is true.
~•~
Being married is a blessing more so when it keeps
You far away from Zina and immorality.
Though you may like some for their attractive qualities,
Your man is your soulmate whom you love romantically.
~•~
Keep praying that Allah blesses your marital life,
Pray you and your spouse make it to Jannah Paradise.
With trust in Allah and loving patience, you'll survive,
Whether you're the only wife or one among four wives.
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "If a woman prays her five prayers, fasts her month of Ramadan, guards her chastity, and obeys her husband, she will enter Paradise from any gate she wishes."
