💌 Five reasons why in Islam zina is unlawful,
Why Muslims can't go on dates that are premarital,
Why zina is a sin for both married and single,
Whether zina occurs between a male and female,
Or among same genders who are not marriageable:

One: Allah's forbiddance of zina to the people
Is a test, a trial to detect who is faithful,
To determine who from His slaves are firmly loyal,
And to see who's strong enough to resist obstacles,
Without scorning Allah's Laws, being servants humble.

Two: Another cause in zina being illegal
Is to prevent Muslims from mimicking animals
And beasts which lack rationale, morals and self-control.
We're not enslaved by lust, by our nafs we're not controlled,
And Taqwa makes this avoidance more manageable.

Three: "Fun" found in zina is unblessed, superficial,
And enjoyable only for a very short while.
Doubtlessly, from its outcomes are feeling remorseful,
Guilty for displeasing Allah, while being shameful.
True joy can't be felt in doing what's deplorable.

Four: You either live to serve Allah the Powerful,
Or you surrender to shaytan the detestable,
Regarding the devil's tricks as irresistible.
Worshipping Allah while satisfying His rival
Resembles the style of one who's hypocritical.

Five: Performing what Allah made impermissible
While Allah is watching and one is nearby Angels
Could imply one is ignorant or disrespectful,
Or their disobedience depicts they prefer this world,
And to wait for Jannah's real bliss they seem unable.

So your boycotting of zina becomes successful,
And avoiding captivating souls is workable:
Recall that pleasing Allah is our primary goal.
Death isn't a joke. Prepare with good deeds. Be careful.
Ignore shaytan who can make muddy filth look like gold.

📖 Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "O young men, if you are able to support a wife, get married. Verily, it lowers the gaze and guards chastity. Whoever is not able to do so, then he must fast as it (fasting regularly for Allah's sake) will discipline his desires."
