Tips: It's Hard To Feel Jealous When You're Contented With The Role And Blessings That Allah Chose For You

๐Ÿ’ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
๐Ÿ’Œ There are birds that can fly like geese, eagles and falcons. And there are birds that don't have flying capabilities, such as penguins, ostriches and chickens.
There are animals that travel on four legs like bears, pandas and cats. And there are creatures that transport themselves without legs like snails, snakes and slugs. Some animals can run really fast, like horses, jaguars and cheetahs. Others move about slowly like turtles, elephants and sloths.
There are trees that produce delicious fruits and beautiful flowers; and there are those that are useful for manufacturing paper and wooden furniture. Some plants require sand and sunlight, while aquatic plantations thrive better on water.
Some marriages were arranged by the couple's parents. Some love stories used to be haraam relationships which became halaal through lawful marriage. Other couples were wed when the marriage proposal was accepted.
Some wives are in monogamous marriages, while others are content accepting polygyny for Allah's sake patiently. Some women live with their husbands, while others continue loving the husband despite being employed in a different country.
A mother can be blessed with only one child, while another mom has many children, and another parent looks after twins. Some mothers gave birth through natural delivery, others C-section surgery, and other moms a mix of natural birth and cesarean.
There are a number of wives who are incapable of having kids due to infertility or health issues. There are also women who prefer to not get married, as they'd rather have a perfect spouse in Jannah Paradise. So they go through singlehood or spinsterhood with gratitude.
Some Muslims are talented at writing, others at delivering speeches or lectures eloquently. Some showcase intelligence by artistic and creative means, while others are experts in accountancy, solving math problems or simply controlling their temper to prevent themselves from getting into petty arguments.
Seeing how Allah the Almighty created His servants differently, each one with their own role, mission, gifts, tests and abilities, we mustn't feel inadequate, discontented, or dissatisfied whenever we're tempted to compare our life journey to others' lives.
We should be thankful to Allah the Most Wise, Alhamdulillah, for whatever blessing that He chose to bestow on us, avoid comparing our behind the scenes to what social media users frequently flaunt online, and focus on our own examinations, appreciating every gift which Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala gave without questioning 'how come?' or 'why?'.
It takes high levels of faith/Imaan and patience with Allah's Qadr/Decree to recognize the value of every gift that Allah granted us, while expressing our gratitude to Him by utilizing Allah's favors for a good purpose, without getting jealous of others' achievements. Envy can never disturb your heart when your soul is blessed with faith/Imaan, genuine compassion and grateful contentment.
๐Ÿ“– Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Look at those below you and do not look at those above you, for it is the best way not to belittle the favors of Allah."

๐Ÿ“– Ibn Abbas RadhiAllahu 'anhuma narrated: The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Whoever has four things has been given the best in this world and the Hereafter: a grateful heart, a tongue that remembers Allah much, a body that can withstand trials with patience, and a wife not seeking betrayal in herself or her husband's wealth." (Allah the Almighty knows best.)
