May Allah the Almighty grant us more beneficial knowledge, accept our good deeds, forgive our mistakes, protect us from fitna, and join us with the righteous believers in Jannatul Ferdaus. Ameen.

Note: The Importance Of Truthfulness Even When It Comes To Selling And Buying

๐Ÿ’ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
๐Ÿ’Œ It can be tempting for many entrepreneurs and retailers to take advantage of their clients' eagerness to support them, specially if those business owners are financially struggling and they have loved ones to provide for. Regardless of those sellers' motives to dupe their customers, whether their deceit is in the form of not sending the product in good condition, or the item's price is very unreasonable, or several items were missing and the amount of orders was incorrect, sincere Muslims who fear Allah the Almighty should know that purposely telling lies is a major sin which is punishable if they're not forgiven.
Those who have purchased some products online only to discover that the quality of what they bought is a serious disappointment can learn from their innocent mistake to never buy from such person or store again.
The distress which accompanied your realization that part of your income was wasted clumsily was, with Allah's Will, probably destined to purify your soul from past sins. It's also a blessing in disguise if it makes you aware of how awful it feels to be deceived by somebody whom you thought you could trust, so in the future you refrain from betraying others whether Muslim or non-Muslim.
Allah's Justice, not so-called "karma", is real. What goes around comes around. Even if you won't say Du'a (supplication) against those uncivilized individuals who took more than what they rightfully deserved, because you're empathetic enough to surmise they likely needed the additional money, understand that Allah the All-Knowing knows precisely how to deal with them in both worlds at the most ideal timing.

๐Ÿ“– Abu Sa'eed RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The honest and trustworthy merchant (businessperson, entrepreneur) will be with the prophets, the truthful ones, and the martyrs."
