💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 If I was asked by someone "why do you love your spouse?
Why stay loyal to him when he's not always around?",
I'd respond smilingly, not with a discontent scowl,
"I love him for Allah's sake. Through this marriage I've found
Enhanced faith and eagerness to strive for Al-Ferdaus.

Do I love him for the money he gives every now
And then? No. For his job that would make many wives proud?
No. For the way he treats me like I'm his queen he crowned?
No. For the jokes he tells whenever my moods are down?
Nope. I never married him to wipe my tears and frowns.

I married him for Allah. Please note I'm not about
To lie, as doing so would be morally unsound.
I view my husband as a gift from Allah. That's how,
With Allah's Will, I manage through this love's ups and downs.
I see marriage as a blessing, not a dull playground.

Imagine an instructor distributing handouts.
On seeing him hold some pens, you ask if you're allowed
To borrow one. He approves and lovingly allows
You to keep it for several days, weeks, months, and hours,
Until the moment he takes it from you comes around.

You'd ensure that borrowed pen doesn't fall on the ground,
Doesn't drop on filthy substance nor get thrown around,
And if four students of the instructor are allowed
To share that special pen, you'd agree without a frown.
It's not all yours, anyhow. Why be selfish and proud?

Despite his flaws, I love my husband because of how
I know he's from Allah. Allah's gifts are all profound.
I choose not to quit on him, though divorce is allowed,
As I believe that loving him pleasantly somehow
Strengthened my desire to deserve Jannatul Ferdaus.

My husband's busyness and absences every now
And then prompt me to say Du'a in bed, on the ground,
And when praying Tahajjud while most are sleeping sound.
My husband taught me to be more patient and less proud.
Patience in marriage is one ticket to Al-Ferdaus."

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "If I were to order anyone to prostrate to another, I would have ordered a wife to prostrate before her husband."

Ali Al-Qari said, "That she prostrates to her husband is due to the number of his rights over her and her difficulty in maintaining gratitude for them. This rhetorical point conveys the obligation of the wife to obey her husband in his rights. Indeed, prostration is not lawful to anyone other than Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala."
