Poem: Never Trust Narcissists; Never Admire Them.

๐Ÿ’ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
๐Ÿ“ Some signs you're dealing with narcissists, never trust them,
Since they care more about their ego and appearance
Than morals or truly connecting with their loved ones:
They upload tons of selfies, eager for compliments,
With often filtered photos so their flaws are hidden.
~•~
Uploading videos of their guests, shopping or outings,
Broadcasting events they attend like lavish weddings
Or bragging to strangers about all their achievements,
Are from the strange things they do to boost low confidence -
Craving admiration, so insecure from within.
~•~
If they're females, they love colored lenses, concealing
Defects with heavy makeup or photo editing,
Wearing fake eyelashes or frequently gossiping
About women whose inner beauty belittles them.
They'd do whatever they can to appear alluring.
~•~
If they are male narcissists, from their strangest actions
Include posting pics of cars they could be borrowing,
Recording vids of themselves at fancy restaurants
With the main intention of showing off affluence,
Or their posts are mostly meant to prove intelligence.
~•~
They get energized knowing they've got fans who need them.
It's no surprise that narcissists are prone to acting
Generous in the beginning to form attachments,
Then after some time they attempt to crush their victims
So the latter doubt their worth and seek their attention.
~•~
To defeat narcissists, with Allah's Will, remind them
Of who they were before their current predicament,
"You grew up with poor parents, why are you pretending
As if the world revolves around your recognition?
If you're rich, you'd be kind to the needy and orphans.
~•~
Allah the Most High is Above us and everything.
Why do you behave as if you're stronger than mountains,
As if your sweat is made of musk and you excrete gems,
And as though you have all the answers to all questions?"
Then say: Arrogance is ugly and a major sin.
~•~
Arrogance befits donkeys that like to imagine
They're dragons in realms where dead dinosaurs adore them,
While they deny they're fallible, filled with shortcomings.
Because narcissists tend to lie a lot and pretend,
Remain indifferent to their foul and false statements.
~•~
If some relatives are narcissistic, stay patient,
And respect yourself enough to not wish you were them.
They're not admirable at all if they're suffering
From envying you and resenting your existence.
Continue being better at truth and contentment.

๐Ÿ“– Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "You must be truthful. Verily, truthfulness leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man continues to be truthful and encourages honesty until he is recorded with Allah as a truthful person. And beware of falsehood. Verily, falsehood leads to wickedness and wickedness leads to the Hellfire. A man continues to tell lies and encourages falsehood until he is recorded with Allah as a liar."

๐Ÿ“– Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "No one who has the weight of a seed (or atom) of arrogance in his heart will enter Paradise." Someone said, "But a man loves to have beautiful clothes and shoes." The Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, Allah is Beautiful and He loves beauty. Arrogance means rejecting the truth and looking down on the people."
In another narration, the Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "No one who has the weight of a seed of faith in his heart will enter Hellfire."
