Note: Checklist To Determine How Loyal You Are To Your Husband

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

🗒️ Checklist to determine how loyal you are to your dear husband - if at least seven of these points describe you perfectly, then you are a loyal wife:
1] You don't have "guy friends" and non-mahram males on your Facebook friends list.
2] You know how to control your gaze and avoid unnecessarily staring at the faces and photos of non-mahram males. If occasionally you must glimpse at a male speaker or lecturer online and offline, you make sure that your glances are completely devoid of inappropriate feelings.
3] You try your best to refrain from chatting aimlessly with non-mahram males online and offline.
4] Complimenting non-mahram guys for their looks is something you never do. Telling somebody they're "handsome" (or "gwapo") is restricted exclusively for your husband.
5] Whenever someone would directly or indirectly criticize your husband in any way, you're quick to defend your soulmate or quit building connections with his critics for Allah's sake.
6] Noticing how other women's husbands seem to give them more gifts and attention than how your busy husband spends time with you doesn't make you feel jealous nor insecure. You're entirely contented with the man whom Allah the Most Wise chose for you.
7] Adamantly you resist the urge to talk about your husband negatively to other individuals. If ever you mention an aspect about him which you dislike, specially when answering a question, you make sure that you immediately emphasize how you still deeply care about him for Allah's sake and how all his admirable traits outweigh his human mistakes.
8] When some people behave inappropriately with you or act flirtatious, you cleverly deter their moves, become stubbornly distant towards them, and firmly decide to avoid stalking their accounts on social media.
9] You've made a promise to yourself that if ever your husband asks for separation, you'd still want him back, obstinately reject all marriage proposals you receive from willing suitors, avoid or lessen interactions with anybody who assumes that "you deserve better", loyally maintain friendly ties with his loved ones and faithfully keep asking Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala for his return until he requests for a second wedding even if waiting takes several years.
10] For Allah's sake, you are consistently, courageously and patiently forgiving towards your husband.
11] You're not one of those immodest females who regularly take selfies and upload their self-aggrandizing pictures online.

Note: Good Muslim Wives Are Not Gold Diggers

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Five signs that you're not a gold-digger while your husband is fortunate and blessed to have you as his wife:
1] When he gives or sends you your weekly or monthly allowance, you don't instantly react with "is that all? Why so kuripot ("stingy", "miserly", "cheap" in Tagalog / Filipino language) mahal?" but you genuinely thank him for trying his best to support his wife/wives and family.
Of course if all he can give is twenty pesos a month or he consistently fails to meet your basic needs, try to kindly discuss your concerns with him when he doesn't seem stressed or depressed. Maybe he needs to find another job or he's struggling to pay a large amount of debts which he owes some people who won't stop bothering him until he completes his deal with them?
2] You never compare him to your friends' or neighbors' husbands, as you're contented with the man whom Allah the Most Loving wisely chose for you.
3] You're easy to please or impress when it comes to dealing with your dear husband. Even if he couldn't bring home anything special, besides his body, or he buys simple food from one of the street vendors, you appreciate the fact that at least he cared enough to show up or go out of his way to purchase something for you.
4] You lovingly volunteer to spend on your husband once in a while, or financially support him when he's going through tough times, and you don't expect him to return the money which you generously offered for Allah's sake.
5] You can't get offended when somebody describes your husband as "poor", "neglectful", or "irresponsible", because you know your husband and understand his circumstances far better than any of your critics can speculate.

📖 Narrated Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: On Eid-ul-Fitr or Eid-ul-Adha, Allah's Messenger SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam went out to the Musalla. After finishing the prayer, he delivered the sermon and ordered the people to give alms (charity). He said, "O people! Give alms." Then he went towards the women and said. "O women! Give alms, for I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-Fire were you (women)." The women asked, "O Allah's Messenger! What is the reason for it?" He replied, "O women! You curse frequently, and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. O women, some of you can lead a cautious wise man astray." Then he left. And when he reached his house, Zainab, the wife of Ibn Mas'ud, came and asked permission to enter It was said, "O Allah's Messenger! It is Zainab." He asked, 'Which Zainab?" The reply was that she was the wife of Ibn Mas'ud. He said, "Yes, allow her to enter." And she was admitted. Then she said, "O Prophet of Allah! Today you ordered people to give alms and I had an ornament and intended to give it as alms, but Ibn Mas'ud said that he and his children deserved it more than anybody else." The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam replied, "Ibn Mas'ud had spoken the truth. Your husband and your children had more right to it than anybody else."

Tips: Three Signs Which Could Indicate That Allah Actually Loves You

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

🗒️ Three obvious signs that Allah the Most Kind loves you even if you sometimes go through challenges, difficulties, mood swings, problems and stress in life:
1]• When Allah the Most Wise provides you access to authentic Islamic knowledge, guides you to the correct belief / 'Aqeedah, and gives you plenty of opportunities to learn more about Islam, then understand that He Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala loves you and wants you to succeed in both worlds.
Teachers who genuinely care about their students would offer them as many tips, tricks and advice as they can to help the learners pass their tests with good performance.
📖 Mu'awiyah RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: "If Allah intends goodness for someone, He gives him understanding of the religion."
Source: Sahih Al-Bukhari 71
Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi
2]• When Allah the Most Loving inspires you to join the elite of Muslims who wake up to pray Tahajjud / Qiyaam Al-Layl often and motivates you to do more Sunnah / voluntary good deeds, such as praying Salat Ad-Duha and fasting Sunnah fasts regularly, then be assured that Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala loves you.
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Allah the Almighty said: 'Whoever shows hostility (enmity) to a righteous friend of Mine, I have declared war against him. My servant does not grow closer to Me with anything more beloved to Me than the obligatory duties that I have imposed upon him. My servant continues to grow closer to Me with extra good works (nawaafil deeds like praying Tahajjud and fasting Sunnah fasts) until I love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask something from Me, I would surely give it to him. Were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant it to him. I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death and I hate to disappoint him.'"
Source: Sahih Al-Bukhari 6137
Grade: Sahih (Authentic) according to Al-Bukhari
3]• When Allah's Love causes you to be extra careful concerning who you socialize with and what online content to absorb, realize that your choosiness when it comes to forming friendships indicates you're one of Allah's allies who stay away from distractions and negative influence.
A loyal citizen who feels valued by a certain president would perceive that the latter's care is a lot more important than putting effort in maintaining connections with anybody who is the leader's critic and opponent.
You are never desperate for people's love and admiration when you've become one of those whom Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala loves and grants guidance.
📖 Sa'd Ibn Abi Waqqas RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, Allah loves a servant who is righteous, independent, and obscure (unknown, unpopular, not famous)."

📖 Sa'd Ibn Abi Waqqas RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, which of the people are most severely tested?” The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "They are the prophets, then the next best (in terms of piety/righteousness), then the next best. A man is put to trial according to his Deen/religion. If he is firm in his religion, his trials will be more severe (challenging). If he is weak in his religion, he is put to trial according to his strength in religion. The servant will continue to be put to trial until he is left walking upon the earth without any sin."

Poem: May Allah The Most Loving Have Mercy On My Dear Parents And Reunite Us In Jannah. Ameen.

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 O' Allah, the Most Merciful, Most Loving,
Some good deeds my parents did back when living,
As a witness that my parents did their best,
While I pray that Jannah is their place of rest:
________________
Dear Allah, I remember those nights back then
Seeing my parents pray Tahajjud often,
My Dad as my Mom's Imam, I'd find them both
Praying together for success in both worlds.
________________
My Mom, also a close friend, did what she could
To fulfill our needs, she cleaned, sew clothes and cooked,
Woke us early for Fajr Salah on time,
Was there a lot to love, feed, hug and advise.
________________
Before going to school I'd kiss her goodbye,
While she'd write her Islamic books oftentimes.
Preoccupied with learning about Islam,
She taught me lessons I had to understand.
________________
My Dad, a hardworking man, tried his best too
In caring for us, buying supplies for school.
Often he'd come home from work with lots of sweets,
And ensure we had blankets before he'd sleep.
________________
Many times he helped me with school assignments,
And scold when I'd make mistakes or misjudgements.
I recall that time he sat right next to me
To prevent boys mixing, to teach modesty.
________________
MashaAllah, both were active in Da'wah,
Delivering lectures and giving Zakah.
Saw how they'd donate boxes of food and clothes
To loved ones in need and refugees unknown.
________________
Always concerned for oppressed Muslims worldwide,
In Iraq, Kashmir, Chechnya, Palestine,
And other countries, they both did what they could
To share Islam so it's not misunderstood.
________________
My parents too loved feeding stray cats and birds,
Strove to teach us good manners and keep us learned.
From dear Mom's advice: Have patience with people,
And don't quit doing good. From Dad: Be humble.
________________
Before Mom died, I helped her pray her prayers,
Lifting her arms, saying ‘Allahu Akbar’.
On seeing Dad passed in ICU, told him
‘You’re a martyr, we’ll meet in Jannah again.’
________________
No nights and days pass without sorrow greeting,
May my tears expiate all my sins. Ameen.
May Allah the Most Kind always grant Mercy
And unite me with my beloved parents in Jannah. Ameen.
________________
May Allah the Most Merciful have mercy on my dear parents, accept their good deeds, forgive their sins, protect them from the grave's torment, and reunite us in Jannatul Ferdaus next to Allah and His noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam. Ameen.

Poem: As Muslims We Do Not Celebrate So-called "Valentine's Day"

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Glad tidings to those clever enough to realize
What's real and what isn't, so they don't do Valentine's.
What non-Muslim couples do they don't romanticize,
Aware that most of their affairs are not legalized.
To avoid commemorating zina we're obliged.
~•~
On the fourteenth of February, we're not required
To purchase heart-shaped cakes, to wear pink or red attire,
To send roses or cards, to buy gifts to signify
Profound love, or for Muslim couples to dine outside
Beside lovers whose "love" lives aren't legitimized.
~•~
This day being celebrated by thousands worldwide
Can't justify it even if one's niyyah is right.
A Muslim wife can express her love each day and night
To her husband in ways where she doesn't sacrifice
Her faith/Imaan to match misguided people's desires.
~•~
A Muslim husband doesn't need to cutely describe
His gratitude for each woman whom he calls his 'wife'
On Valentine's day, as he knows it's not justified.
If you love your spouse for Allah, softly verbalize
Your feelings in loving Du'as every day and night.
~•~
Forget watching romantic movies on Valentine's.
Remember that unbelievers cannot be admired
For their wrong beliefs and practices unsanctified.
We're not old-fashioned, closed-minded, not full of vile pride.
As Allah's servants, we strive to leave what He dislikes.
