๐ In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
๐ What you can do to cope with the death of those who died
And returned to Allah without a formal goodbye,
To shun regret - instead of sighing "if only I
Spent more time with them or if I weren't so unkind..."
You calmly accept the choice of Allah the Most Wise:
~•~
Do what the beloved Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) advised.
Patiently say the prescribed Du'a when Muslims die.
Make sure the body is covered, including their eyes,
And avoid crying in a style which Allah dislikes.
To question Allah's plans and wisdom we have no right.
~•~
Thank Allah they're no longer suffering in this life.
No more stress, tears, and worries every once in a while.
No more difficulties for them as long as they tried
Their best to live dunya in a way that Allah likes.
If they're from the righteous, rejoice for them from inside.
~•~
Pray that Allah forgives them, every once in a while
Ask Allah to grant them mercy, fill their graves with light,
To join them with good souls who make it to Paradise
Where we can hopefully meet again and reunite,
And pray that wherever they are they enjoy delight.
~•~
Hope to see them in Jannah. Almost each day and night
Mention their names when praying. Know it's okay to cry
Whenever you miss them and certain people remind
You of the nice things they did while they were still alive.
Keep striving for Allah. There's no grief in Paradise.

๐ Ibn 'Umar RadhiAllahu 'anhuma from his father that the noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The deceased is punished in his grave for the wailing done over him." (Refrain from wailing or excessively crying over those who've returned to Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala.)

๐ Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.' Rather say: 'Allah has decreed what He wills.' Verily, the phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of shaytan."
