✅ Respect yourself enough to choose your close friends wisely.
It's better to have just one friend than befriend many
Fake actors who distract us from Allah and our Deen.
Know who the righteous ones are and those who sincerely
Strive to boost their faith Imaan and personality.
~•~
And be wise enough to detect those who are only
Pretending to be pious by dressing modestly
Despite gossiping about others regularly
And spreading lies about the women whom they envy.
Avoid connecting with those guilty of fakery.
~•~
They're not righteous if they let their feelings frequently
Control their acts and choices so they typically
Behave irrationally and you can't properly
Discuss deep topics with them because generally
They desire their wants more than values and right belief.
~•~
They're like naive kids who insist on eating candies
That are clearly expired and bad for their health and teeth.
Warnings and reminders don't impact them. And "sorry"
Sounds like an insult to them and their low self-esteem.
Don't bother befriending those who lack maturity.
~•~
They're not righteous either if they inadvertently
Compel you to overspend, prefer dunya to Deen,
Persuade you to leave your spouse and fear polygyny,
Or disrespect your moments spent with your family,
Or they mostly chat about nonsense, trade and movies.
~•~
Just because a female wears hijaab it doesn't mean
She's fully free from any urge to decide wrongly.
She's still a human being and occasionally
Can do some deeds which could cause Allah to be displeased.
Search for those who seek authentic knowledge seriously,
~•~
Who understand humans are imperfect and believe
That among Allah's servants is a minority
Of true believers who steadfastly wish to succeed
In both worlds, and they're not submissive to what they feel.
Friendships with the untrustworthy are temporary.
