Tips: Know When To Refrain From Asking Personal Questions

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 From the signs of trustworthy friends: They respect your need for privacy at certain times, they understand you're not required to disclose all the personal details of who you were in the past, and they don't compel you to reveal everything that happens to you in your life. Questions like "When was the last time you and your husband did it? How often do you make love? With lights on or off?", "What kind of adult websites did you enjoy browsing when you were a teen?" and "Why did you move to different schools a lot?" wouldn't be asked by a decent person who knows when to mind their own business and give you some space.

° Three instances when it's better to refrain from asking a personal question:

1) If the answer you receive will not benefit you at all in this world and the afterlife.

2) If their response could lead you or them to trouble, or their reply is a potential topic for gossip.

3) If the reason for asking is to collect information which you plan to use against them.

You can be good friends with another Muslim without needing to pry into topics which they're not comfortable discussing with just anyone. Knowing a lot about someone isn't always essential to build intimate friendships. It is possible for two persons to be close because they have many similar interests, share common qualities, and mutually help each other become better Muslims for Allah's sake without nosily interfering with matters which do not concern them.

📖 Ali ibn Husayn RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Verily, part of perfection in Islam is for a person to leave what does not concern him.”

Poem: Loving Them From A Distance For Allah's Sake

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 To whom it may concern, who I love for Allah's sake,
Whose passion for learning Islam increases my faith,
Whose gentleness inspires me to improve my own traits:
I love you for Allah though it's not clearly displayed.
~•~
Fighting the urge to chat with you daily, I'm afraid
That my affection and care for you may escalate
Into something not normal, or inappropriate,
So I distance myself, so you and I remain safe.
~•~
From the outside it seems like you and I can't relate,
But inside I feel we're the same in so many ways.
We've struggled, shed tears, challenging problems we both faced,
And to join those whom Allah loves is one of our aims.
~•~
Trust me, I think of you a lot, nearly night and day,
During Tahajjud thinking if you're likewise awake,
And after Fajr eager to remind you would say
Your Adhkaar, then reaching out to check if you're okay.
~•~
We could talk for hours, but fitna makes me hesitate.
You know how shaytan is patient with his cunning games.
Thus I love you from a distance and sincerely pray
That we both make it to Jannah Paradise someday.
~•~
📖 Mu’adh Ibn Jabal RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Allah the Almighty said: 'Those who love each other for the sake of My Glory will be upon pulpits of light, admired by the prophets and the martyrs.'"

Poem: Take Care Of Your Dear Parents Especially Your Mom

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 To those who spend much of their time nowadays caring
For their moms who reached old age, or became bedridden,
Who accompany them to hospitals now and then,
Who feed and bathe them daily as their moms have weakened:
Know Allah loves you. Take care of your mom with patience.
~•~
I've done it before, striving to care for my dear mom,
Lifting her to the bathroom though I wasn't so strong,
Bathing her often like she bathed me when I was young,
Massaging her legs, and feeding her with my right hand,
Praying that my mom gets better until she was gone.
~•~
So no matter how tiring your situation is,
Whether you're tired enough with work or have your own kids,
Or caring for your mom can conflict with your marriage,
Recall how your mom worked so hard when you were a kid,
How she let herself get tired so you'd be comforted.
~•~
Thus don't give up. Never think of sending her away
To a place where strangers may not care for her with faith.
Continue taking good care of her for Allah's sake.
Remember those times when she fed you without complaint,
Taught you how to walk and helped you without being paid.
~•~
She's still your mother even if she forgot your name.
She still loves you despite not recognizing your face.
Pray that in Paradise you'll be together again,
Free from challenging tests, worries, grief and exhaustion.
Strive, brave Muslim. Allah loves those who remain patient.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: A man asked the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam, “Who is most deserving of my good company?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Your mother.” The man asked, “Then who?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said “Your mother.” The man asked again, “Then who?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Your mother.” The man asked again, “Then who?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Your father.”

Poem: Virtues Of Fasting Sunnah Fasts For Allah

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Glad tidings to those who don't just fast in Ramadan,
But who strive for Allah, doing as much as they can
Of good deeds to please Allah, so Jannah's where they land,
Like fasting Sunnah fasts to deserve Baab Ar-Rayyaan.
~•~
They're strangers in the sense that when most eat, they're fasting,
And late at night they pray, while most sleep or go clubbing.
With Allah's Guidance, they race with enthusiasm,
Competing to reach Jannah with a noble entrance.
~•~
For Allah, they fast on Mondays and Thursdays often,
Thirteenth, fourteenth and fifteenth days of nearly each month,
Six days in Shawwaal, ninth and tenth days of Muharram,
Every other day, so Allah is more pleased with them.
~•~
Fasting regularly can enhance one's self-control.
If you can shun food and drink, you can strengthen your soul
By training it to avoid what's haraam/unlawful.
Resisting vile desires leads to success in both worlds.
~•~
Fast to please Allah and prove to Him your eagerness
To see Allah's Face after striving to pass His tests.
Let feelings of hunger and thirst erase sins you did,
As you thrive with those whose Imaan is above average.

No one else will enter it along with them. It will be said: 'Where are those who fasted, so that they may enter?' When the last of them enter, it will be closed and no one else will go through it."

Tips: Some Things You Can Relate To If You Have An INTJ Personality Type

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Some things you can relate to if you have an INTJ personality type:

I (Introverted):

1] Although you're not afraid to confront people or interact with them once in a while, you prefer spending time alone doing tasks like researching, reading, listening to podcasts and recorded lectures, planning schedules, or contemplating.

2] You're more contented with having only a few close friends than trying to befriend everybody you meet. Being selective with your choice of friends, you gladly don't mind being avoided by those who busy themselves with fault-finding, gossiping and collecting others' sins through shameless backbiting.

3] You would rather lead groups from behind the scenes, be second in command, or support a competent leader than constantly insist on taking leadership roles.

N (Intuitive):

1] You can usually sense how people feel despite their outward behavior, body language and tone of voice. Numerous times (with Allah's Guidance) you've guessed correctly that someone was being dishonest, untrustworthy, or concealing certain information from you.

2] You notice patterns, frequently have vivid dreams, detect hidden meanings, understand subliminal messages, and can read between the lines (with insight and intuition from Allah the Most Wise).

3] You oftentimes don't get surprised when some meetings, projects or outings have been cancelled because you had a feeling from the start that whoever organized them would most likely cancel them. Generally you find it challenging to trust people.

T (Thinking):

1] You can't easily get offended, insulted or embarrassed. Evaluating criticism is one of the ways for you to improve, receiving insults can enhance inner strength, and awkward moments are opportunities to develop your self-awareness or encourage better understanding of people's different reactions.

2] You confidently make decisions based on logic, efficiency and rationality regardless of what critics may think.

3] Even if you can feel some intense emotions at times, such as jealousy or unwanted feelings of attraction, you resist the urge to act upon what your heart feels and instead pursue what you believe is right.

J (Judging):

1] You have a strong preference for organizing and planning over acting impulsively and being spontaneous.

2] You dislike it when you or other individuals clumsily make grammatical errors, typos and misjudgments.

3] You can be very stubborn once you've decided to stick to a plan, decision or method. You're not the kind of person who wants to fit in or camouflage with the crowd.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.' Rather say: "Allah has decreed what He wills." Verily, the  phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of shaytan."
