Note: Tips On How To Avoid Staying Hurt

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Seven ways to recover from hurt feelings or how to stay firm as a Muslim despite being hated by some critics:
1] Remember your main goal is to please Only Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala, not to adjust yourself to satisfy His servants' demands and different expectations.
2] As long as you live your life according to what Allah and His noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam want, instead of behaving to suit people's standards, you shouldn't worry about their criticism and false accusations.
3] Insulting remarks, offensive slurs and misconduct intended to trigger intense reactions usually come from a person who is either intensely jealous of you or who's low-key insecure. Understand where they're coming from. Realize their unjustified rudeness is due to the fact they could be emotionally disturbed or jealously threatened. So patiently release yourself from their negative vibes, and don't be affected by their ignorant attitude.
4] They have absolutely no valid reason to judge you because:
A) They're complete strangers who don't fully know you.
B) They don't pay your bills nor did they give birth to you. In other words, since they have nothing positive to contribute in your life, you mustn't invest any emotion on them. Rather than feeling offended by something they did or said, be grateful Alhamdulillah that you are not like them in lacking good manners or having awfully low self-esteem.
C) They too aren't 100% perfect. The Only True Judge in both worlds is Allah the Most Wise Who sees everyone and what they go through.
5] Let their injustice, deceit, betrayal, offense, and rejection remind you to trust Only Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala. No matter how badly some individuals have treated you, strive to remain patient for Allah's sake, say Du'a and observe Allah's Justice take place at the time He knows is most befitting.
6] You can either visualize the toxic individual being a patient from a mental hospital who doesn't have any idea of their wrongful treatment towards you. Thus try to tolerate them patiently, and distance yourself from their negativity. Or you can see them as a wild beast who violently pounced on you once when you tried to approach them. A significant lesson you've learned is to never attempt to befriend or confide in them again, since they're capable of showing aggression.
7] Quit stalking their social media accounts or timelines on Facebook if you used to be friends, so you don't have to stumble upon any of their hateful posts directed at you indirectly. Once you've realized that someone's companionship does more harm than benefit, you're better off not knowing what goes on in their life.
Courageously have enough self-respect to detach yourself from those who act as annoying obstacles along the way to Paradise, while you have forgiven them for Allah's sake, from inside.
Forgiving people doesn't always mean exposing yourself to the wrong kind of "friends" who are harmful for you, but you let go of the heavy load of resentment against them, stop plotting revenge, which develops your well-being, and trust that Allah the Most Loving will be the One to deal justly with His creation, if not in this temporal dunya then on the Day of Judgment.
📖 Anas Ibn Malik RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said to me: "Young man, if you are able every morning and evening to remove any rancor (grudges, hatred or jealousy) from your heart towards anyone, do so."
Then, the Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said to me:
"Young man, that is my Sunnah. Whoever revives my Sunnah has loved me, and whoever loves me will be with me in Paradise."

Note: Choose Your Online And Offline Friends Carefully.

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 One of the ways to ensure the wellness of your emotional and mental well-being is to avoid toxic users on social media. You have every right to unfollow or unfriend a user whose status updates make you doubt your self-worth, feel awful about an insecurity you're struggling with, or distract you from your goal of striving to be a better Muslim.
The definition of "toxic" isn't exactly the same for everybody. What you're emotionally allergic to may be considered as tolerable or essential for someone else, just as what they can't tolerate is something you find valuable and helpful. In my case Alhamdulillah I've had to unfollow and/or delete a number of users who post passive-aggressive status updates, whiny rants, and mostly negative news. Scrolling through their timelines gives me the sense of being around an insecure individual who enjoys cowardly gossiping, backbiting and counting others' mistakes whilst they forget their own errors and imperfections. I'd rather have my faith/Imaan levels increase by regularly reading Islamic reminders and beneficial messages than throw away each second browsing around selfies and gossipy status updates aimlessly.
If you feel anxious before you intend to check a user's timeline, worried you may encounter a status update that is indirectly referring to you or somebody you know in a hurtful manner so it negatively affects your mood, unapologetically unfollow them or unfriend them yet maintain basic courtesy if ever you bump into each other offline or spot their name on a mutual friend's platform.
The type of people you choose to surround can hugely impact your overall behavior and beliefs. The more you chill with your preferred group of friends or the more you expose yourself to certain users on Facebook, the more you acquire their prominent traits such as their enthusiasm to learn more about Islam, courage to defend the truth, eagerness to do charity for Allah's sake, ability to express oneself creatively when being creative can come in handy, or being disciplined in staying silent during times of fitna and speaking only when necessary.

Note: Words Of Comfort To Adult Orphans

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 It can be really sad and disheartening to see your mother or father in a dream and upon waking up you realize they're not in your present life anymore. You no longer hear the angry yet caring scoldings of your father whenever he tried to correct your wrongs, or his inspiring talks at the dinner table when the family gathered together. You deeply miss the delicious dishes that your dear mother cooked with her tireless hands, her comforting advice that helped you in self-development and her warm concerns whenever she noticed you weren't feeling well. Each time you see an elderly person, you're reminded of how nice it would be if your parents were still alive so you can earn the immense rewards of sincerely respecting and taking care of them for Allah's sake.
Unpleasant guilt can often creep into those who feel as though they didn't serve their parents enough, who resent how they weren't able to say goodbye before their parents were buried, who experience depressive feelings when they recall how their parent/s couldn't attend their wedding or graduation ceremony, who cry at the thought of seeing their kids grow up without compassionate grandparents, and who become sadly nostalgic when they remember the memorable times they've had with the wonderful souls who brought them up well and educated them on Islam and good character.
🔹Tips on how to deal with feeling low or despondent as an adult orphan:
1] Remember that your parents, just as yourself and every other living being, belong to Allah the Almighty Who has the right to return whatever belongs to Him anytime. Patiently accept Allah's Qadr/Destiny instead of miserably wishing your parents lived a longer life.
2] Be grateful Alhamdulillah that you at least witnessed your parents raise you until your teenage years. A lot of children have to deal with the struggle of being orphaned at a very young age, many of them not knowing what it's like to receive the affection of a protective parent.
3] Feel contented and relieved to know that you are not like those disobedient children who sent their parents to an 'old age home' or 'senior care residence', expecting strangers to be caregivers of the people who raised them since they were born.
4] There have been numerous news in the past and cases where a teenager or adult was imprisoned for killing their parent/s over some worldly-related issue. I still can't forget that case when I was a teen back in Saudi Arabia where a young man shot his parents while they were sleeping just because they wouldn't give him enough freedom to enjoy life his own way. Be thankful you weren't that sort of burden to your parents.
5] Express gratitude to Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala that your parents were not alcoholics, drug addicts, criminals, and intentionally abusive narcissists. Other kids around the world are frequently being neglected and abused by their misguided parents. Alhamdulillah you didn't go through such abuse.
6] Take opportunity to gain more rewards whenever you miss your mother and/or father to mention them in your loving Du'as, particularly when you're fasting or praying Tahajjud at night. Pray to Allah the Most Merciful that He forgives your parents, accepts their good deeds, protects them from entering Hell, increase the good deeds in their account through charity done on their behalf, and supplicate that Jannah Paradise is where you can finally reunite.
7] Demonstrate extra kindness and generosity towards orphans, especially young orphan Muslims. Being affectionate, helpful and endearing to them can compensate for whatever shortcoming you've had concerning your parents in the previous years. Let your parents' death pleasantly inspire you to be stronger through being more generous, kindhearted, tolerant, forgiving, and understanding towards others for the sake of Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala.
Note: Rather than uploading photos of your parents on social media and writing indirect letters to them which they can't read, you can honor them for Allah's sake by praying for them daily, doing charity or performing Hajj/'Umrah on their behalf, and by not willfully abandoning the people whom they cared about during their lifetime, steadfastly guiding their relatives to Islam and if possible encouraging them to be the best Muslims whom Allah wants us to be.
Today Jumuah Friday before Salat Al-Maghreb include your parents and the Muslim Ummah in your Du'as.
