Poem: Three Reasons Why Allah Sometimes Decrees That We Meet People Who Lack Good Character

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Three reasons why Allah sometimes decrees that we meet
Toxic people and those who treat us improperly,
From the weak who ignore salaams, those prone to envy,
Those who count our flaws, those who roll their eyes when we speak,
Those who stole from us, and haters who spread calumnies:
~•~
One: To learn patience, get rewarded for patiently
Tolerating trolls and troublemakers who mistreat
Us when we're only trying to apply courtesy.
If all souls we met treated us well impressively,
We wouldn't have discovered what patience really means.
~•~
Two: To be familiar with what it feels to receive
Unfair treatment, awful service, and dishonesty.
So our awareness of how bad manners are nasty
Can remind us to deal with humans respectfully,
Specially with fellow Muslims and one's family.
~•~
Three: To remember to thank Allah for His Mercy,
As good character is a gift deprived by many.
When some souls interact with you disrespectfully,
Realize deep inside they're disturbed, lost, unhappy,
So they lack guts to say "Thanks", "Please", "Love you", and "Sorry".
~•~
Broken people want others wounded similarly.
Their rudeness indicates they often feel incomplete.
Next time someone mistreats you or acts impolitely,
Stay patient. Thank Allah you don't have their misery.
And be inspired to behave with others more kindly.
~•~
📖 Abu Darda RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Nothing is heavier upon the scale of a believer on the Day of Resurrection than his good character. Verily, Allah hates the vulgar and obscene person (prone to wicked conduct and vile speech such as purposely telling lies, backbiting, spreading rumors)."

📖 Sa’d Ibn Abi Waqqas RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, which of the people are most severely tested?” The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "They are the prophets, then the next best (in terms of piety), then the next best. A man is put to trial according to his Deen/religion. If he is firm in his religion, his trials will be more severe. If he is weak in his religion, he is put to trial according to his strength in religion. The servant will continue to be put to trial until he is left walking upon the earth without any sin."

Tips: Some Good Deeds That Menstruating Females Can Do In The Last Ten Nights Of Ramadan

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Nine good deeds that women in their monthly period or postpartum menstruation can do during the last ten nights of Ramadan:
1 ] Say the morning and evening Dhikr, and other Adhkaar including Istighfaar as often as you can.
2 ] Say Du'a, specially in the last third of every night or few minutes before the Fajr prayer.
3 ] Continue reciting from the Noble Qur'an through Qur'an application on mobile, on a website https://www.thenoblequran.com/q/ , Tafseer or holding a Mushaf with thick gloves or clean cloth. Menstruating females are allowed to perform the Sajdat At-Tilaawah when they reach the Sajdat At-Tilaawah symbol while reading.
Allah the Almighty knows best.
4 ] Help in preparing the Iftaar and Suhoor meals.
5 ] Take care of the infants and younger kids while their parents are praying Taraweeh or Qiyaam Al-Layl.
6 ] Wake up one's family members or Muslim neighbors at Tahajjud time to pray the Qiyaam Al-Layl and Witr prayers.
7 ] Learn more about Islam by reading Islamic books and articles, watching Islamic lectures online or listening to Islamic talks and beneficial podcasts.
8 ] Share Islamic reminders on social media to remind oneself, strengthen faith/Imaan, and uplift other Muslims for Allah's sake.
9 ] Do more acts of kindness or charitable deeds, such as giving advice to Muslims (of the same gender) who feel depressed, visiting a Muslim who is hospitalized or not feeling well, giving food and drink to stray cats and birds, occasionally sharing some dishes with one's loved ones and neighbors, warning Muslims against immoral speech like backbiting etc.

Poem: Why I Despise Divorce Even Though It Is Halal

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Why I hesitate to ask my husband for divorce,
Even though it is halal if problems can't be solved:
I believe that the man whom Allah the Most Wise chose
As my soulmate inspires my love for Allah to grow,
Specially through Du'as when my man's not always close.
~•~
I believe there's wisdom in Allah bringing us both.
Through this marriage, thanks to Allah, I have learned and known
The sweet outcomes of patience with what Allah bestows,
Polygyny's role in inspiring spiritual growth,
And how real love is shown when you forgive your man's faults.
~•~
It's not that I don't have the guts to beg for divorce.
I'd rather focus on a rose's scent and colors
Than be a dreary critic that whines about its thorns.
I'd rather keep a gift from Allah than have it thrown,
More so if throwing it away just leads to remorse.
~•~
"He's busy, not abusive.", "He clearly didn't know.",
"Yes, at times he may be too preoccupied with work,
But I'm aware he's got other dreams, concerns and goals.
As his wife, I don't want to be the cause of his hurt,
His tears, weakened level of faith, and feelings of guilt."
~•~
If ever we split up, I'd only wish to return,
Research ways to have wedding two with my husband first,
Refusing to quit as I wasn't born a coward.
As a Muslimah who strives to value Allah's Laws,
I believe marriage stays strong when it's for Allah's Love.

Poem: Some Tips To Cope With Being Despised By Some People

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Some souls are like the sneeze; when they leave, we thank Allah,
For shielding us from their bad vibes that invite fitna,
From their frequent lies, fakery, gheeba, nameema,
And their disinterest in striving towards Jannah.
Like parasites, they bring nothing but stress and mishaps.
~•~
Some are like chewing gum, with flavor that can't last long.
Temporary, good for seasons that can't be prolonged,
Brief friendships often occur when one person is prone
To jealousy, feeling insecure, threatened or bored,
And proud refusal to forgive a non-robot's wrongs.
~•~
The likeness of certain users who choose to unfriend,
Block your account, or depart from group chats you attend,
Is that of dead cells which snakes shed to renew their skins,
Or dry leaves which fall from trees when they're shoved by strong winds.
No difference can be spotted, with or without them.
~•~
Tips to cope better with those whose goals conflict with yours:
Focus on loving Allah, and love Allah the most.
Recall Prophet Nuh ('alaihis salaam) and how not many showed support.
By knowing Allah is with us, we won't feel alone.
Solitude is sweeter than rapport which makes life worse.
~•~
People in general click with those they relate to.
Thus, if you're unique or stand out, close friends may be few.
And that's perfectly fine, when you have Allah with you.
In the end, what join us when we die are deeds we do,
Not our fam, not our fans nor VIPs we once knew.
~•~
📖 Anas Ibn Malik RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Three things follow a deceased person (to the person's grave). Two of them return and one remains. His family, his wealth, and his deeds follow him. His family and wealth return, but his deeds remain (with the dead in their graves)."

Note: Muslim Females Are Allowed To Perform Sajdah At-Tilaawah And Sajdat Ash-Shukr Even If They Have Their Monthly Period

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
📜 Question: Can a woman who has her monthly period or postpartum menstruation perform Sujood At-Tilaawah (prostration when reaching the Sajdat At-Tilaawah symbol while reading with gloves from the Noble Qur'an, on mobile, website or Tafseer) and Sujood Ash-Shukr (prostration of expressing gratitude and thanks to Allah the Almighty)?
📝 Answer: There is no problem, because it is not a condition to have wudhu/ablution to perform the Sujood At-Tilaawah and Sujood Ash-Shukr. They do not require that a person be in a state of purity. Therefore she can do Sujood while reading (even if a Muslimah has her menses). Yes.

Poem: Some Lessons We Can Learn From Battles Of Badr And Uhud

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Sharing seven lessons from Islamic history,
From the battle of Badr, took place on seventeenth
Of Ramadan while the Muslims were fasting, bravely
Fighting falsehood, and defending Allah and Tawheed,
And battle of Uhud where they later faced defeat,
~•~
Not to condone violence, uproar and anarchy,
But to inspire Muslims to strengthen in piety,
To increase good deeds to serve Allah the Almighty,
To recall Allah is the One Who grants victory
And in good times and trials there are lessons to teach:
~•~
One: Success doesn't depend on numbers, quantity,
And physical strength, but purpose, faith and quality.
Three hundred or so warriors can beat larger armies
If they fully believe in Allah and they're sincere,
Unafraid to fight Allah's foes from their families.
~•~
Two: When competing, don't be too certain you'll succeed.
Don't be overly confident, pridefully haughty,
Underestimating the skills of your enemies.
Remember your achievements come from Allah Only,
And Allah hates it when His slaves act arrogantly.
~•~
Three: Allah sees what you go through. Allah never sleeps.
Allah's Justice comes at the best time ultimately,
Like that moment when Bilal ibn Rabah fiercely
Avenged himself and his belief at the battlefield
Against Umayyah ibn Khalaf who disbelieved.
~•~
Four: To thrive in both worlds, faithfully support our Deen,
Adhere to the Sunnah (of Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) with courage and loyalty,
And detach from dunya to avoid indignity.
Loss and failures usually stem from material greed,
Distance from Islam and not taking it seriously.
~•~
Five: Regardless of someone's age or they appear weak,
They can be powerful with Allah's Will and Decree.
Abu Jahal was struck by someone seen as puny,
Abdullah bin Mas'ood and two young boys in their teens
Who fought for Allah's sake with noteworthy bravery.
~•~
Six: Despite your efforts and many attempts to flee
From some people, you must deal with them if it's decreed,
Like Abu 'Ubaidah ibn Al-Jarrah when he
Kept avoiding his father but got him finally.
His love for Allah and His Prophet (Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) was more, clearly.
~•~
Seven: Abu Sufyan, wise Khalid bin Al-Waleed,
'Amr ibn Al-'Aas, 'Ikramah son of a chief
Also son of Abu Jahl, they all previously
Fought Muslims before Allah saved them from unbelief.
Believe that Allah guides whom He wills by His Mercy.
~•~
📖 Ibn Abbas RadhiAllahu 'anhuma narrated: I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam when he said to me, "Young man, I will teach you some words. Be mindful of Allah and He (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. If you ask, ask from Allah. If you seek help, seek help from Allah. Know that if the nations gathered together to benefit you, they will not benefit you unless Allah has decreed it for you. And if the nations gathered together to harm you, they will not harm you unless Allah has decreed it for you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried."

Poem: Fasting Isn't Just Refraining From Eating And Drinking But Also From Wicked Acts And Talks As Much As Possible

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 To those still glued to grudge and plotting verbal revenge,
Who haven't changed a bit apart from their resentment
Growing gradually despite Ramadan's commencement:
What do you gain from attaining other Muslims' sins
When you stalk their posts and react with shameful rantings?
~•~
Fasting for Allah is supposed to improve you, but
It seems you haven't learned yet why we Muslims should fast.
Fasting isn't just leaving drinks and edible stuff
From dawn to dusk but also from wicked talks and acts,
To obey Allah's Commands and achieve Allah's Love.
~•~
Debating, inventing foul jokes to make readers laugh,
Posting surly status updates as implied comebacks
To bandage one's big ego that's been wounded a lot,
And stalking the timelines of users whom you begrudge
To count their faults just harms you. Please, morally grow up.
~•~
For Allah's sake, if someone's good vibes get on your nerves,
If a Muslim's frequent updates and presence disturb,
Or to insult those whom you hate you have constant urge,
Simply don't check their profiles. Don't scrutinize their words.
Decline their calls to fight. Let them argue with themselves.
~•~
Visualize them as mosquitoes trying to bother.
Either you walk away or smack them with your Sabr,
Slap them with your indifference, aware it's better
To ditch childish quarrels than nurture bitter haters.
Your foes can greet Allah's Justice sooner or later.
~•~

Poem: Some People Go Through Struggles And Challenges Which Only Allah The Almighty Knows About

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Some possible reasons why some people seem grumpy,
Why a friend, colleague or stranger may offensively
Disrespect you or answer your questions angrily,
So you won't assume Allah doesn't love you when He
Sometimes strengthens you through tough times and difficulties:
~•~
That taxi driver who seemed sad or irritable
Likely received bad news he'll no longer be able
To work with his company, or his wife ungrateful
Threatened him with divorce for his financial struggles.
Someone's moodiness shouldn't make your manners awful.
~•~
Those salespeople who looked dismal or unwelcoming
May be dealing with problems and each one's different,
Decreased income, or increased demands from their children,
Lack of support from their loved ones, a heart that's broken,
Illness or announcement that someone close is dying.
~•~
Clients, customers or officers prone to scowling
And others who don't implement basic good treatment
May be tests from Allah the Most Wise to train patience.
Will you treat them with equal sass, pride and arrogance?
Or empathize and think maybe they're hurt from within?
~•~
People who are miserable from inside naturally
Find it hard to be polite and apply courtesy.
When someone is suffering, disturbed, or unhappy,
Realize you're not the problem but them actually.
Don't let your morals drop due to their despondency.
~•~

Note: Permissibility To Say Du'a Even Without Wudhu/Ablution

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
📜 Question: In some nights I get up from sleep at around 2:00 AM and I supplicate to Allah from within without performing wudhu/ablution and without praying Tahajjud (Qiyaam Al-Layl) yet. Is this allowed? Or should I perform wudhu and pray Sunnah prayers before I can say Du'a?
📝 Answer: There is no problem in saying Du'a without wudhu/ablution. It is also permissible to say Du'a while in a state of janaaba (sexual impurity from intimacy with one's spouse or from a wet dream) because saying Du'a does not require wudhu/ablution. And this is from Allah's Mercy, because the servant is in need of saying Du'a at all times. However, being in a more purified condition, having wudhu and saying Du'a while praying, is closer to having one's supplications being guaranteed to receive a response, particularly when you are performing Sujood/prostration.
Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The closest a servant is to his Rabb (Lord Allah the Almighty) is when he is performing Sajdah or Sujood, so increase your supplications." [Sahih Muslim]

From the Fataawa of sheikh AbdulAziz Ibn Baz (May Allah have mercy on him. Ameen.)
~•~
📖 ‘Ubadah Ibn Al-Samit RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "There is no Muslim on earth who calls upon Allah in supplication but that Allah will grant it to him or divert some evil away from him, so long as he does not ask for something sinful or to cut off family ties." A man said, “In that case we will ask for more.” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Allah has even more."

Poem: Reminders On Reaching The Fifteenth Of Ramadan

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Two weeks of blessed Ramadan have passed by already.
As the days and nights nowadays go by so quickly,
Have you seen some changes? Do you feel differently?
Has your heart become softer? Your faith level increased
Through reading the Qur'an and learning Islam daily?
~•~
Or are you the same person as you were previously,
Envying others' lives, questioning Allah's Decree,
Stalking the accounts of those whom you hate intensely,
Doubting other Muslims' niyyah, ready to deceive,
And withholding surplus blessings from those in dire need?
~•~
Whichever page you're on in the Qur'an currently,
Whether Surah Al-Kahf, Al-Furqaan, or Yaseen,
Or in Surah Al-Baqarah reciting slowly,
Make sure you recite for Allah with sincerity,
To honor Allah's Speech and strengthen your piety.
~•~
Speed up your efforts to please Allah as it comes near,
Laylatul Qadr in which the Qur'an was revealed.
Be eager to pray Tahajjud while most are asleep
In the remaining nights of Ramadan before Eid.
That Allah can answer your Du'as firmly believe.
~•~
Cleanse your heart. Free it from lousy traits like jealousy,
Greed for dunya's joys, suspicion and hypocrisy.
Forgive Muslims for Allah though you didn't receive
Response or sorry, so with a pure heart you can greet
Laylatul Qadr while Allah accepts our good deeds.
~•~
Realize as well that not all of us will be here,
Many may return to Allah prior to next year.
So make this month better than those of the previous years,
Read more chapters from the Noble Qur'an faithfully,
And pray that Allah takes us while He is with us Pleased.
~•~
No human is perfect. Hence if you ignorantly
Misbehaved, watched indecent scenes, or hurt somebody
Some time ago before today Ramadan fifteen,
Seek Allah's Forgiveness. Do Istighfaar aplenty,
Say Du'a, and don't you dare deny Allah's Mercy.
~•~
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan due to faith (Imaan) and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. Whoever stands in prayer during the Night of Decree (Laylatul Qadr) due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven."

Note: It Is Allowed To Recite Short Surahs During Taraweeh

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
📜 Question: In some small villages, during the blessed month of Ramadan, the Imaam, while praying Taraweeh, usually recites one Ayah or two verses at most in every Rak'ah. And there are others who recite Surah Al-Ikhlaas in each Rak'ah (while praying Taraweeh). Is the prayer correct (valid, accepted)?
📝 Answer: The prayer is correct, but it is better that the Imaam starts the Taraweeh prayer with reciting whatever verse one can recite from the beginning of the Noble Qur'an, and if possible to complete reading or reciting the whole of the Noble Qur'an, as this is more rewarding and more ideal. As for dividing a Surah into several portions when praying each Rak'ah, it is allowed to recite even two Ayaat / verses (after Surah Al-Fatiha).
Allah the Almighty says, "And fear Allah as much as you are able." [Surah At-Taghaabun verse 16]
Allah the Almighty also says, "And read (or recite) whatever it is easy for you to read (or recite) from It (The Noble Qur'an)." [Surah Al-Muzzammil verse 20]
There is no specified number of verses to recite in the Taraweeh prayer. You may recite whatever amount of verses from the Noble Qur'an after reciting Surah Al-Fatiha.
Question: What can you say about reciting Surah Al-Ikhlaas in each Rak'ah (after Surah Al-Fatiha) during Taraweeh?
Answer: If the person did not yet memorize another Surah besides Surah Al-Ikhlaas (especially if the individual recently embraced Islam), then there is no problem. However, if they have memorized other Surahs, then it is better to recite the other chapters and verses which one has learned, and to reserve Surah AI-Ikhlaas specially for the last Rak'ah, in Salat Al-Witr. This is better.
Allah the Almighty knows best.
From the Fataawa of sheikh AbdulAziz Ibn Baz (May Allah have mercy on him. Ameen.)

Poem: What It Means To Hate Someone For Allah's Sake

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 What hating for Allah means, who deserves our hatred -
It's to prove we love Allah with faith that's authentic
By avoiding or loathing those whom Allah detests
From among staunch unbelievers, liars, hypocrites,
And those who take pride in siding with misguided sects.
~•~
Among those whom we hate for Allah's sake are toxic
People who use their big mouths to spread lies and gossip,
Who cruelly mock others for how they were created,
Blabbering nonsense so their presence won't benefit,
And they themselves witness the fact they can't be trusted.
~•~
Hating for Allah doesn't mean being oppressive.
Those whose goals and interests with ours clearly conflict
Shouldn't cause us to backbite, earning sins that they did.
Online we avoid them, ignore content they've posted,
And offline we don't socialize if it's not needed.
~•~
Horses would stay in their lane so they remain shielded,
Far from snakes, jaguars, wolves and other critters vicious.
Place a rotting fruit near fresh ones, they'll get affected,
And speeding cars with marred breaks can worsen a traffic.
To succeed in both worlds, with Allah's rivals don't mix.
~•~
Dislike someone not because they're greedy or selfish,
But coz they purposely take Allah's Laws for granted
And from Allah's Way their bad vibes keep you distracted.
So long as they're astray, as you withhold your friendship,
Still maintain good ethics. Hope someday they'll be guided.

Poem: Do Good Deeds Just To Please Allah The Almighty Without Waiting To Be Thanked By His Servants

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Admit the fact that not all people were brought up well.
Just because you're kind doesn't guarantee that you will
Always be treated kindly by each individual.
There'll be some souls who doubt your kindness, ones ungrateful,
And those who, despite your favors, choose to hate you still.
~•~
From the secrets to inward happiness in this world
Is to do good just for Allah Who justly rewards
Your efforts to please Him, while people's praise isn't sought.
Thoughts like "Where's my thanks?", "Ingrates!", "They didn't thank enough,"
And "my altruism was wasted" aren't thought of.
~•~
Your gifts, treats, advice you shared, freebies, or meals you bought
For loved ones and friends are meant to attain Allah's Love.
You're generous not so people can admire, applaud
Or return your favors, but you seek Allah's Reward,
Aware that kindness makes you from those whom Allah loves.
~•~
Numbers who were taught by their mothers to talk and walk
Disrespect the mom like her tireless works they forgot.
There may have been news of sons who've had their fathers shot
And some students who caused their teachers to lose their jobs.
Don't be shocked if you're nice while some guess you're "showing off".
~•~
Strive to serve Allah. Realize that those with pure hearts
Recognize the light and good intentions in your heart.
Some Muslims' quietness try not to quickly misjudge.
You may think they're unthankful for your unselfish acts,
When they've gratefully mentioned you in loving Du'as.

That I walk with a brother regarding a need is more beloved to me than that I seclude myself in this Mosque in Madinah for a month. Whoever swallows his anger, then Allah will conceal his faults. Whoever suppresses his rage, even though he could fulfill his anger if he wished, then Allah will secure his heart on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever walks with his brother regarding a need until he secures it for him, then Allah the Almighty will make his footing firm across the bridge (the Siraat) on the day when the footings are shaken."

Note: One Of Many Proofs That The Noble Qur'an Is Indeed Allah's Speech

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 One of the many proofs that the beloved Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam did not invent the Noble Qur'an, besides him being illiterate (unable to read or write), and that the Qur'an is indeed Allah's Speech, is that more than centuries ago, way before the discovery of satellites, geological tools and modern technology, Allah the Almighty mentions in the first verses of Surah Ar-Rum (chapter 30) how a battle between the Persians and Romans took place in the lowest point on earth. How else would the Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam know that it is the lowest point on the ground if he was all the way in Makkah or Madinah while he didn't actually travel to every single area around the globe to accurately determine that where the armies were combating is really the lowest point?
The Noble Qur'an, revealed to the beloved Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam through Angel Gabriel/Jibreel 'alaihis salaam, is truly Allah's Word full of signs, miracles and prophecies, not an "ordinary manuscript written by a poet".

Note: Eleven Qualities Of Good Muslim Friends

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Qualities of righteous friends:
1] They love you for the sake of Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala, sincerely wanting to befriend you so you can make it to Jannah together, instead of befriending for personal gains or worldly matters.
2] They don't judge you by your external appearance, your family, accommodation, income and public reputation. What matter to them are your correct Aqeedah, shared love for seeking Islamic knowledge and sincere niyyah intention.
3] They include you in their frequent Du'as without you knowing.
4] When hanging out, they remind you to pray early when the time for Salah has arrived.
5] They correct your mistakes, while remembering you're just human, not to boost their ego, but so you can be a better Muslim for Allah's sake. Examples: Reminding you to eat and drink with your right hand, fixing your hijab so a strand of hair isn't shown, and commanding you to stop backbiting if they hear you gossiping about someone.
6] They give you gifts or do favors often without expecting anything in return. They offer you a ride home, to help around your house, and give financial assistance if they're capable, not to impress you but to strengthen the bond to please Allah the Most Loving.
7] They're trustworthy, honest and reliable. Any secrets or intimate thoughts you confided in them stay safe with them. If they can't fulfill a promise, they try to compensate or at least apologize and explain their current situation.
8] They share beneficial knowledge with you whenever they can, send links to useful Islamic articles or educational videos, and invite you to attend Islamic conferences or classes with them so your faith/Imaan is strengthened.
9] They can't get jealous of you nor do they secretly envy your achievements. Seeing you happy makes them joyful just as finding you depressed can make them worried. They're genuinely caring, helpful and supportive.
10] Even if you often argue, quarrel or disagree on many things, they never hesitate to say sorry, understand your story and remain forgiving. Friends worth keeping are those who aren't controlled by their emotions.
11] Because they really want your friendship to continue in Paradise, they strive to keep the connection strong by ensuring it's not one-sided and it is free from deceit, suspicion and lies. Although you may live far apart, or they're residing in another city or country, you persistently pray that Allah the Most Merciful reunites you in Jannah Paradise.

Poem: We Can't Force People To Believe What's Right. Only Allah The Most Wise Guides Whom He Wills.

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 'Umar ibn Al-Khattab, Khalid bin Al-Waleed,
Abu Sufyan bin Harb, Hind bint 'Utbah, and Wahshi
Were from those who openly fought and showed enmity
To Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) and the Muslims previously
Until Allah guided them, saved them from disbelief.
~•~
Abu Talib who took care of Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) for years,
The son of Nuh ('alaihis salaam), Aazar the father of Ibraheem ('alaihis salaam),
Wife of Lut ('alaihis salaam), Ibn Salul known for hypocrisy,
And fir'awn, spouse of Aasiyah ('alaihas salaam), guilty of tyranny
Stayed astray - Far from Allah's Guidance, Light and Mercy.
~•~
No matter how eager you advise some families,
Begging Allah to guide your loved ones persistently,
Mentioning their names in Du'as dedicatedly,
They won't be guided, of your advice they can't take heed,
If their sticking to falsehood is by Allah decreed.
~•~
Don't worry. When you do Da'wah for Allah bravely,
And your invites to the truth are declined frequently,
Be grateful for Allah's Guidance and that you at least
Did your best to remind, correct wrongs, enjoin good deeds,
And called your relatives to Allah responsibly.
~•~
Only Allah the Almighty can decide wisely
Who among His creation deserve Jannah's entry.
Enjoining right and forbidding wrong is your duty.
Granting enlightenment is done by Allah Only
Who controls all people's hearts and Qadr/Destiny.

Poem: Allah The Most Wise Hears Our Du'as And Knows When To Answer At The Best Time

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Even if a baby cried for a bottle of milk,
You wouldn't grant them their request if you clearly felt
The drink is still too hot and it's not drinkable yet,
So they'd have to wait for the milk's temperature to drop,
As giving it too soon can hurt the infant a lot.
~•~
No matter how loud a toddler weeps for a cactus,
You'd keep the spiky plant away so they're protected.
You'd give them an item different from what they asked,
A toy that's softer and safer for them to play with.
Your act of preventing is because of care and love.
~•~
Regardless of how loudly your son cries day and night,
Begging you for a car when he's still too young to drive,
You wouldn't give in to his earnest pleas and desires
Until he's older and he's no longer a small child.
You provide his wants not when he likes but when it's wise.
~•~
When saying Du'a and asking Allah for our needs,
We need to be patient, have the strength to wait humbly,
Trust in Allah's Might to respond only when He sees
That what we beg for won't bring harm to our well-being,
Or He'll bestow if it's absolute necessity.
~•~
In Ramadan and in every instant you're alive,
To cry to Allah while saying Du'as don't be shy.
Don't guess you were unheard if your wish didn't arrive,
As Allah hears everyone well and He the Most Wise
Answers at the best time and has favors more worthwhile.
~•~
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Every one of you will have his supplications answered, as long as he is not impatient and says: 'I have supplicated but I was not answered.'"

Poem: Be Contented Knowing That Dunya Is Temporary And Our Actual Home Is Jannah Paradise

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Reassuring those who reside in simple houses,
Those whose residence can't be described as "luxurious",
Those who don't have fixed homes and where they rest are rented,
Those who sleep in small rooms on overused mattresses,
And who aren't rich: Jannah's our home. Be contented.
~•~
Accept what Allah chose to give. With Islam we're blessed.
Poverty or meager means may be from Allah's tests.
Recall how Allah's noble Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) lived,
Content with sleeping on the floor, on a rough mattress,
Satisfied with a lifestyle that isn't so lavish.
~•~
Those whom Allah granted wealth, who stay in mansions big,
Whose dwellings cost thousands with lounges richly furnished,
Aren't worth admiring if they're not rightly guided,
If they don't cleanse their money by being generous,
And if richness won't benefit them when they're buried.
~•~
Spacious abodes on earth and swimming pools are useless
On Judgment Day when we'll be asked about what we did.
We won't be questioned on fancy things we collected
Nor how many guests did one's luxury home impressed,
But how we served Allah with Imaan and deeds righteous.
~•~
Alhamdulillah for the countless gifts Allah gives,
Like guidance to Islam and 'Aqeedah that's correct,
Chances to do Tawbah and please Allah through kindness,
Awareness, not known to most, that dunya is short-lived,
And in Jannah Paradise is neverending bliss.

📖 Umar Ibn Al-Khattab RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: I entered the room of the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam while he was lying on his side over a mat. I sat down as he drew up his lower garment and he was not wearing anything else. The mat had left marks on his side. I looked at the Prophet’s cupboard and I saw a handful of barely in a small amount, the same of mimosa leaves in the corner, and a leather bag hanging to the side. My eyes started to tear up, and the Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "What makes you weep, son of Khattab?" I said, “O Prophet of Allah, why should I not cry that this mat has left marks on your side and I see little in this cupboard? Caesar and Khosrau live among fruits and springs, while you are the Messenger of Allah and His chosen one, yet this is your cupboard.” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "O son of Khattab, are you not pleased that ours is the Hereafter and for them is the world?" Poem: Five Signs You're A Muslim Empath Who, With Allah's Will, Can Sense People's Feelings

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Five signs you're a Muslim empath even if you're a
Thinking MBTI type like an INTJ,
Who values mercy, loves and hates just for Allah's sake,
Who's gifted with intuition, peaceful inner state,
And who knows Allah's Justice ultimately prevails:
~•~
One: You can sense how someone's feeling, despite their face
And body language say something besides what's portrayed.
You'll defend if they feel ashamed. If mad, you'll give space.
If they're sad, you absorb their aches and alleviate
With comforting words, advice, or warm loving embrace.
~•~
Two: Secondhand embarrassment is something you hate.
Seeing others fall or make mistakes can't entertain.
When some are bullied or treated in an unfair way,
To help and bravely back them up you don't hesitate.
At fixing awkward moments you're from those who are trained.
~•~
Three: Fake, rude and toxic people you repudiate.
By fakery and gossip you get easily drained.
Solitude, away from bad vibes, you appreciate.
Mean critics mocking others' flaws you can't tolerate,
And to those who lack nice manners you don't gravitate.
~•~
Four: Often you shed tears when you read the Qur'an, pray,
Supplicate, say Du'a, while mentioning loved ones' names,
Indicating your soul is pure, free from filthy traits,
Such as envying others' blessings which Allah gave,
Doubting Muslims' niyyah and foul thoughts one formulates.
~•~
Five: Long-term grudge and hurt pride in your heart don't remain.
For a Muslim's apologies you don't need to wait.
Saying the salaam you usually initiate,
And you're kind not so your favors are returned someday
But seeking Allah's Love through kindness is from your aims.
~•~
Take note that not all empaths are precisely the same.
Some are more sensitive than others, others more tamed,
And others practice empathy in logical ways.
So Allah loves you more, be merciful with His slaves,
Aware that good character is heavy on the Scales.
~•~
📖 Abu Darda RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Nothing is heavier upon the scale of a believer on the Day of Resurrection than his good character. Note: Taraweeh And Qiyaam Al-Layl Are Highly Recommended Sunnah Prayers

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
📜 Question: Is the Taraweeh prayer obligatory (Waajib) upon the women? And is praying Qiyaam Al-Layl (Tahajjud) mandatory in Ramadan and in other months?
📝 Answer: The Taraweeh prayer is not obligatory. Similarly, Qiyaam Al-Layl (Tahajjud) is not obligatory, not in Ramadan and not in other times. However, it is a highly recommended Sunnah which the beloved Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam regularly did and encouraged. He SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam frequently prayed Qiyaam Al-Layl and the Witr prayer while traveling and as a resident. Taraweeh and Tahajjud (Qiyaam Al-Layl) are Sunnah good deeds, not obligatory.
The least that you can do is to pray one Rak'ah (Witr) after the 'Ishaa prayer or in the last third of the night. The more Rak'ahs you pray during Taraweeh or Tahajjud (Qiyaam Al-Layl), the better (and the more rewards).
The noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam generally prayed Taraweeh in eleven Rak'ahs, saying the Tasleem after every two Rak'ahs and ending the night prayer with one Rak'ah of Witr.
From the Fataawa of sheikh AbdulAziz Ibn Baz (May Allah have mercy on him. Ameen.)

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Allah the Almighty said: 'Whoever shows hostility (enmity) to a righteous friend of Mine, I have declared war upon him. My servant does not grow closer to Me with anything more beloved to Me than the obligatory duties that I have imposed upon him. My servant continues to grow closer to Me with extra good works (nawaafil deeds like praying Tahajjud, Taraweeh in Ramadan, and fasting Sunnah fasts) until I love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask something from Me, I would surely give it to him. Were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant it to him. I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death and I hate to disappoint him.'"

Note: Permissibility To Delay Praying Taraweeh Until The Later Part Of The Night

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
📜 Question: Is it allowed for me to delay the Taraweeh prayers until the last part of the night (or around midnight)?
📝 Answer: Yes, there is no problem. If it is easier and more convenient for you then it is better to delay it until the later part of the night. However many of the Muslims pray Taraweeh in the first part of the night because during this time most of them are more energized to pray Taraweeh. A lot of the people usually cannot wake up in the later part of the night if they sleep before praying Taraweeh. If it is manageable for you to delay Taraweeeh to a later part of the evening, then delaying it is better.
From the Fataawa of sheikh AbdulAziz Ibn Baz (May Allah have mercy on him. Ameen.)

📖 Abu Salamah RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated that he asked Aisha RadhiAllahu 'anha, “How was the night prayer of the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam in Ramadan?” Aisha RadhiAllahu 'anha said, "He SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam would not pray more than eleven cycles (Rak'aat) in Ramadan or other times. He would pray four cycles, but do not ask about their beauty or length. Then, he would pray four cycles, but do not ask about their beauty or length. Then, he would pray three cycles. I asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, do you sleep before the Witr prayer?' The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said: 'O Aisha, my eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep.'"

Note: Permissibility To Say Du'a While Performing Lawful Tasks Like Cooking And Cleaning

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
📜 Question: Can I supplicate to Allah, say Du'a, while I am working (e.g. while folding clothes, arranging items, cleaning, cooking, babysitting etc.) with a heart that is present, not distracted?
📝 Answer: Yes, the person can say Du'a in every time period, Alhamdulillah, even if they are at work, or even if a woman's job is in the kitchen (e.g. while frying, washing the dishes, chopping vegetables, kneading dough, baking etc.) and the like. She can say Du'a while she is working, Alhamdulillah, whether she is standing or sitting. The timing of saying Du'a is very broad, Alhamdulillah, yes.

Poem: A Warning Against Purposely Cutting Off Family Ties

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Note to those who claim to be Muslims yet pridefully
Left their parents who nurtured them since they were babies,
Blocked cousins on Facebook due to animosity,
Treat some of their relatives with foul hostility,
Or who disown some from their clan because of money:
~•~
Do you think Allah the Almighty will instantly
Answer your Du'a when you cause your mother to weep,
When you've abandoned some cousins due to jealousy,
When your ego and pride are louder than lightning streaks
As you view some relatives like they're sworn enemies?
~•~
You fast in Ramadan, obey Allah partially,
And you expect Allah to help you immediately
When you refuse to reconcile with your family,
Let alone respond to them when they cheerfully greet,
Or reach out and send some salaams once a year at least?
~•~
Fear Allah the Most Wise and don't take His Laws lightly.
Maintaining family ties is a Muslim's duty.
Respecting one's parents is a must similarly,
Even if they're not Muslims yet, you treat them kindly,
To please Allah through behaving with humility.
~•~
If you can't always visit loved ones since you're busy,
At least contact them or message occasionally,
Or ask another relative to forward kindly
Your salaams to relatives in faraway cities.
Don't block them online, lest you're barred from Allah's Mercy.

Note: Notes On Praying Taraweeh In Ramadan

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
🗒️ Notes on praying Taraweeh:
1] It is Sunnah, not obligatory. If you pray Taraweeh after 'Ishaa during Ramadan,
Inn-sha-Allah you'll be rewarded, and there is no penalty or punishment for not praying Taraweeh. Praying a few Rak'ahs of Taraweeh though is better than neglecting this rewarding Sunnah good deed.
2] Taraweeh consists of 2 Rak'ahs, then 2 Rak'ahs, then 2 Rak'ahs, then 2 Rak'ahs and then Witr 2 then one Rak'ah. Taraweeh can also be prayed in 20 plus Rak'ahs if you have the capability or energy to do so.
3] According to some scholars, the Imaam or the person praying individually (not those following the Imam, to avoid unnecessary movements) can recite while holding a copy of the Noble Qur'an (Mushaf) when praying the Taraweeh prayers if they haven't memorized longer Surahs.
4] It is allowed to recite Ayatul Kursi and short Surahs like Surah Al-Ikhlaas during Taraweeh for those who have not memorized the whole of the Noble Qur'an.
5] Taraweeh prayers can be delayed to about a few minutes before midnight.
6] Women who have their monthly period, besides helping out in preparing Iftaar and Suhoor, can
Inn-sha-Allah attain rewards by babysitting the infants, toddlers and younger kids while their parents are praying Taraweeh.
7] Importance of having Ikhlaas/sincerity before doing any good deed. Our intention to pray Taraweeh should not be "because the majority of Muslims are doing it", "to fit in with those who are praying Taraweeh", or "as a habit" but to sincerely do this good deed following the Sunnah of the beloved Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam to please Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aalaa, hoping for more rewards to be added to one's record of good deeds, and join those who are deserving of Jannatul Ferdaus.
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "One might fast and he gets nothing from his fast but hunger. One might pray at night but he gets nothing from his prayer except for fatigue."

Poem: Some Lessons Derived From The Recent Death Of A Sister In Islam

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 While chatting with someone who got married recently,
She told me her sister died during delivery,
Less than one week ago. She was thirty-one only.
Though we weren't close, we've shared a few good memories,
We swapped hugs at a park while some teachers were with me.
~•~
Checked her profile, then scrolled through our messages swiftly,
Realizing this person who used to chat with me
Died newly, and this year's Ramadan they couldn't greet.
It's Allah's Qadr that her last Ramadan would be
The one in 2020. Now she's gone with her deeds.
~•~
How do I feel about her passing? Slightly guilty,
Wondering how nice it would be if we frequently
Interacted more, if her dialect I could speak
Much more fluently, but this is Allah's Destiny,
That her soul leaves this world without a goodbye to me.
~•~
Brief lessons derived from her death, to boost piety:
Be ready to meet Allah. Death can come suddenly.
For each soul we deal with, be a pleasant memory,
As much as possible treating all mercifully,
And when you've done wrong, reform or bravely say sorry.
~•~
Ditch prideful ego, it's Ramadan especially.
Why keep hating some when you've got the same enemies,
Wicked nafs and shaytan who loves it if he succeeds
In convincing you to obey him, serve worldly greed,
Or miss out on righteous friends due to doubt or envy.
~•~
Careful with the kind of content you post purposely. Although the body's buried, some deeds don't really sleep,
Such as status updates, lessons learned that one did teach,
And memorable moments which loved ones choose to keep.
~•~
This Ramadan, Du'as for others kindly increase.
Pray for those whom Allah returned to Him specially.
While no human has strength to resurrect the deceased,
You can ask Allah to forgive a Muslim's misdeeds,
And if you care, on their behalf perform charity.
~•~

Poem: Nine Mistakes In Ramadan We Should Avoid Doing

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Nine common mistakes in Ramadan we mustn't make,
To attain more rewards as we fast for Allah's sake:
One: Being eager to fast but too lazy to pray,
Waking up for Suhoor while one's prayers are delayed.
Try to ensure all of Allah's Commands are obeyed.
~•~
Two: Pausing major sins, like zina and backbiting,
And when it's Eid, one returns to their evil-doings.
Do your best to reform for a valid repentance.
Three: Not caring about one's niyyah before fasting.
Actions are nothing if they lack sincere intention.
~•~
Four: Reading the Noble Qur'an without reflection,
Aiming to read many times without understanding.
Understand Allah's Words so your faith can be strengthened.
Five: Not praying Taraweeh at all, as it's "tiring".
Learn Islam. Good deeds are easy when you've got wisdom.
~•~
Six: Asking Allah for your needs while you've abandoned
Purposely your relatives and blocked lots of Muslims.
Say Du'a with a pure heart. Forgive. Ditch resentment.
Seven: Losing rewards through complaints and impatience.
Humbly fast for Allah without loudly complaining.
~•~
Eight: Spending most hours sleeping so hunger's forgotten.
Recall the battle of Badr, how the Muslims won,
And strive to do more good deeds for Allah with patience.
Nine: Being very wasteful when eating and drinking.
To serving Allah, not your greed, give more importance.

Ramadan, a noble month that comes in a year once,
Shouldn't be taken for granted, dear fellow Muslim.
From those who returned to Allah before this season
Take lessons to hasten your Tawbah, self-improvement,
And wise preparation, to meet Allah whilst smiling.
~•~
Cleanse your soul and pardon all Muslims for Allah's sake,
Even if with some you don't always communicate.
Fix your niyyah at night, intend to fast the next day,
So you're with Muslims fasting in case you wake up late.
Seek Allah's Forgiveness if ever mistakes are made.

📖 Abdullah Ibn Amr RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Fasting and the Qur'an will intercede for the servant on the Day of Resurrection. Fasting will say: 'O Rabb (Allah the Almighty), I prevented him from food and drink during the day, so let me intercede for him.' The Qur'an will say: 'O Rabb (Allah the Almighty), I prevented him from sleeping during the night, so let me intercede for him.' Thus, they will both intercede for him."

Poem: Love Your Loved Ones And Friends For Allah's Sake In Moderation

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Some souls, when they love you for Allah, they don't go deep.
They don't oblige themselves to daily reach out and speak
With you though your name is mentioned by them frequently
In loving Du'as while you're busy, up or asleep.
Although they seem distant, they care about you deeply.
~•~
Giving you space, moments to take breaks, freedom to breathe,
And calmly waiting for you are signs their love is real.
They don't want extreme attachment to spoil what they feel,
As high expectations can damage what has been sealed.
Tighten a knot nonstop, and it may break gradually.
~•~
Imagine you and your beloved as a sticky
Note on paper that can be released more easily
If what glues you to each other is temporary,
Compared to lasting adhesives that can lead to tears,
Torn pieces that resemble a heart that's incomplete.
~•~
Don't glue yourself too much to people whom you hold dear,
As getting overly attached can hurt immensely.
Learn not to be like those who threaten insecurely
Their friends with vicious threats if they ditch their company,
Or who try to take their lives when a friend dies or leaves.
~•~
When certain friends distance themselves occasionally,
Their frequent silence is to guarantee your safety -
Protection from gossip, zina and impiety,
And they wish that when Allah decrees their souls to leave,
You remain strong, as you're attached to Allah Only.

📖 Umar Ibn Al-Khattab RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "If you were to rely upon Allah with reliance due to Him, He (Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) would provide for you just as He provides for the birds. They go out in the morning with empty stomachs and return full (or satisfied)."
