Hadith: Strive To Be Prepared To Meet Allah.

📖 Abu Ayyub RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: A man came to the Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam and he said, “O Messenger of Allah, teach me and make it concise.” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "When you stand for your prayer, pray as if you are saying farewell. Do not say anything for which you must apologize, and give up any desire to acquire what people have."

Poem: Importance Of Doing Good Deeds For Allah Only

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Our aim in life is to serve Allah, not please His slaves.
So good deeds are accepted and they don't go to waste,
Make sure those righteous actions are done for Allah's sake.
Avoid doing an action for your personal gain,
To impress fellow servants or earn some form of fame.
~*~
To be sincere is to do something just for Allah,
To obtain rewards through it, and to increase Taqwa,
To continue upon Allah's Way with pure niyyah,
Regardless of many accusing you of riyaa,
Claiming "you're promoting yourself not doing Da'wah".
~*~
From Ikhlaas/sincerity is to supplicate much,
To pray to Allah to purify our hearts and nafs,
To beg Allah that He protects us from showing off,
To cry to Allah, pleading our rewards don't get lost,
As we do other good deeds which humans don't know of.
~*~
What should come with right intention is correct action,
Done according to the Prophet's Sunnah/tradition.
The Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam
Is the best role model and example to learn from.
Ensure what you do isn't bid'ah/innovation.
~*~
Charity is invalid if it's from haraam means,
Lecturing for self-interest carries no blessings,
And fasting is nothing if it's for weight reduction.
So our good deeds are valid, let's cleanse our intention,
And do more good deeds for Allah which don't need audience.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, the first people to be judged on the Day of Resurrection will be a man who was martyred. He will be brought, the blessings of Allah will be made known and he will acknowledge them. Allah will say: 'What did you do about them?' The man will say: 'I fought in Your Cause until I was martyred.' Allah will say: 'You have lied, for you fought only that it would be said you were brave, and thus it was said.' Then, Allah will order him to be dragged upon his face until he is cast into Hellfire. Another man studied religious knowledge, taught others, and recited the Qur'an. He will be brought, the blessings of Allah will be made known and he will acknowledge them. Allah will say: 'What did you do about them?' The man will say: I learned religious knowledge, taught others, and I recited the Qur'an for Your sake. Allah will say: 'You have lied, for you studied only that it would be said you are a scholar and you recited the Qur'an only that it would be said you are a reciter, and thus it was said.' Then, Allah will order him to be dragged upon his face until he is cast into Hellfire. Another man was given an abundance of blessings from Allah and every kind of wealth. He will be brought, the blessings of Allah will be made known and he will acknowledge them. Allah will say: 'What did you do about them?' The man will say: 'I did not leave any good cause beloved to You but that I spent on it for Your sake.' Allah will say: 'You have lied, for you spent only that it would be said you are generous, and thus it was said.' Then, Allah will order him to be dragged upon his face until he is cast into Hellfire."

📖 Umar Ibn Al-Khattab RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, deeds are only with intentions. Verily, every person will have only what they intended. Whoever emigrated to Allah and His Messenger (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam), his emigration is for Allah and His Messenger (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam). Whoever emigrated to get something in the world or to marry a woman, his emigration is for that to which he emigrated."
