Poem: Praying Tahajjud Once In A While Is Better Than Not Praying It At All

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 If you have a habit of praying Qiyaam Al-Layl

And frequent Tahajjud keeps you at peace from inside,

You know what it feels like to miss it on certain nights,

Like you're missing something though you pray Fajr on time.

~•~

The distress in missing out on Tahajjud's blessings

Is more than missing your flight, exclusion from meetings,

And dismissal from a long-awaited appointment.

You wonder, "What did I do that kept me from praying?"

~•~

That's one way to know if you're close to Allah or not,

When most would sleep while Allah inspires you to wake up

To find comfort in Him (Allah) through heartfelt Du'as,

And Qiyaam Al-Layl is more calming than casual chats.

~•~

Perhaps when you sleep longer, when you fail to get up,

And you face the day with some bit of guilt in your heart,

You're reminded you're human, you get tired and whatnot,

And you're trained not to disdain those not righteous enough.

~•~

So thank Allah for His favors, honor His Mercy,

Do good deeds sincerely for Allah consistently.

When shaytan wants you to view Allah negatively,

Stay firm, as a Muslim, at least you pray and believe.

~•~

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Our Lord (Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) descends to the lowest heaven in the last third of every night, and He says: 'Who is calling upon Me, so that I may answer him? Who is asking from Me, so that I may give him? Who is seeking My Forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?'"

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Allah the Almighty said: 'Whoever shows hostility (enmity) to a righteous friend of Mine, I have declared war upon him. My servant does not grow closer to Me with anything more beloved to Me than the obligatory duties that I have imposed upon him. My servant continues to grow closer to Me with extra good works (nawaafil deeds like praying Tahajjud and fasting Sunnah fasts) until I love him. When I love him, I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask something from Me, I would surely give it to him. Were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant it to him. I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death and I hate to disappoint him.'"

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The first action for which a servant of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Resurrection will be his prayers. If they are in order, he will have prospered and succeeded. If they are lacking, he will have failed and lost. If there is something defective in his obligatory prayers, then Allah the Almighty will say: 'See if My servant has any voluntary prayers that can complete what is insufficient in his obligatory prayers.' The rest of his deeds will be judged the same way."

Poem: Sincerity And Consistency Are Important When Doing Good For Allah's Sake

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Allah's Mercy is greater than your mom's love for you.
Don't be too hard on yourself. Do good deeds you can do,
Sincerely, consistently, and with faith that stays true,
Steadfast for Allah's sake, with patience and gratitude.
~*~
When there are days you pray Fajr late due to fatigue,
When you delay some prayers each time you oversleep,
Or lack of focus during Salah makes you repeat,
Compensate with Sunnah prayers, and refuse to quit.
~*~
When your eyes have witnessed things they're not supposed to see,
When your ears listened to what they're not allowed to hear,
Or you spoke in a way that good Muslims shouldn't speak,
Seek Allah's Forgiveness. Replace past sins with good deeds.
~*~
Don't be too hard on yourself. Know Allah can forgive.
Remember you're human, not designed to be perfect.
Whenever you sin, slip or fall, don't remain upset.
Return to Allah, and do Tawbah to pass His tests.
~*~
Being Muslim doesn't mean you never commit sins,
But when a mistake is made you rush to repentance,
Striving to deserve Jannah despite falling often,
Refusing to stop, knowing Allah is Forgiving.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Do good deeds only as much as you are able, for the best deeds are those done regularly (consistently) even if they are few."

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.' Rather say: 'Allah has decreed what He wills.' Verily, the phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of shaytan."

Verily, none of you will enter Paradise by his deeds alone." Poem: On Patience With People's Mockery And False Accusations

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 To the insecure and jealous, you are "arrogant",
A "narcissist" to the threatened who lack confidence,
"Snobbish" or "pretentious" to those with wrong perceptions,
And "ignorant" to those who forgot you're still learning.
~•~
You may be labeled "autistic" or "oddball" to those
Who think they've figured you out when clearly they don't know
You entirely, they're not familiar yet with your goals,
Misread your intent, condition, and most of your words.
~•~
In the eyes of those who approach you for selfish gains,
You're "unkind" or "useless" if you don't please them always.
You're "mean" or "self-centered" if you need space on some days
To those who demand that you never make a mistake.
~•~
You may have blonde hair since birth and most insist it's "fake",
Send assignments on time and still be told "you're too late",
Or be described as "ugly" while some admire your face.
Of what they choose to see in you people have their ways.
~•~
Just as Allah is our God yet many disbelieve,
And Allah is One though thousands trust in "Trinity",
People's opinions don't portray your reality.
Don't tie your self-worth to lies or insecurities.
~•~
Tips to cope when some people accuse you unfairly
Or try to dim your soul's light out of pure jealousy:
Thank Allah you're not in their place, accusing, firstly,
Not the one behaving poorly and immaturely.
~•~
Realize their slurs reflect weak personality,
Their self-loathing justifies self-imposed misery,
And feeling inferior directs them to mockery.
Give them freedom to daydream. Allah knows us truly.

📖 'Aisha RadhiAllahu 'anha narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Whoever seeks the pleasure of Allah by displeasing the people, Allah will suffice him against the people. Whoever seeks the pleasure of the people by displeasing Allah, Allah will leave him to the patronage of the people."

📖 Ibn Mas’ud RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated that he was harvesting toothsticks from an Arak tree and he had tiny shins. The wind blew and made him fall over, so people laughed at him. The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "What are you laughing at?" They said, “O Prophet of Allah, at his tiny shins.” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "By the One (Allah) in Whose Hand is my soul, they will both be heavier on the Scale than the mountain of Uhud."

📖 Wathilah ibn Al-Asqa’ RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The Muslim is sacred to another Muslim: His life, his honor, and his wealth. The Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. He does not wrong him or betray him. Righteousness is here," and he pointed to his heart. The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "It is enough evil for a man to look down on his Muslim brother."

Poem: On Dealing With Failed Friendships And Leaving Toxic Friends

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Tips to deal with failed friendships, how to forget ex-friends,

And some ways to welcome rejection with contentment:

One - Accept the truth that Allah controls everything.

Who loves then leaves you is part of what Allah destined.

~•~

Two - Regard someone's disappearance or avoidance

As a warning that dunya's joys are not permanent.

Some bonds that build up quickly gradually get boring -

Reminding us that earth's bliss are not everlasting.

~•~

Three - Recall that ex-friend's insults, faults and maltreatment.

Rewind incidents in which they denounced your presence,

Rolled their eyes when you spoke, gossiped when you were absent,

Or their silence when you expressed joy with your blessings.

~•~

Four - Respect yourself enough to grant your detachment

From those whose actions mostly bring stress and dejection.

Freeing yourself from bad comrades is more rewarding

Than tolerating toxic friends who are disturbing.

~•~

Five - You have Allah and Allah's Love is sufficient.

The Qur'an, and your good deeds can be your companions,

Along with Allah's Angels, and books you read often -

With guidance from Allah, you can move on with patience.

📖 Abu Umamah RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Whoever loves for the sake of Allah, hates for the sake of Allah, gives for the sake of Allah, and withholds for the sake of Allah has perfected the faith (Imaan)."
