📝 Around 2000 pesos for one night was never used when I booked a room in a subdivision or condominium near SM Mall of Asia when we traveled to Manila several months ago. Another large amount of money was wasted when I booked for a hotel which had numerous branches around Manila (not mentioning its name so I wouldn't be a basher nor do I want to indirectly advertise it) and spent a considerable amount of money on a number of Grab cars because the first taxi went to the wrong branch and another sent us to another incorrect branch etc. so minus 200 and another 200 something etc. 300 or something pesos was lent to somebody who asked if they could borrow that amount but they only returned a tiny portion of it which triggered me to block them afterwards since they couldn't be trusted as they wouldn't return the amount they promised to send back despite my effort to help promote their pastils business.

Then this morning 200 pesos was sent to a person likely pretending to be a popular VA coach. It was my fault for not carefully analyzing their Facebook profile - after I sent them 200 via GCash I noticed they have less than 7 online friends and their English is terrible. A lot of virtual assistants and freelancers would avoid grammatical mistakes when speaking in English and this user didn't seem to be fluent in English at all. Whether they're a scammer or not, I've decided to avoid attending any more online workshops for VA training when there are loads of videos uploaded on YouTube for free with tips on how to utilize various websites and tools which many virtual assistants and freelancers utilize.

However, I still recommend the online courses of a Tausug VA coach brother Zoulkifli. Even if his training consisting of 12 sessions 3 times a week may cost 1500 pesos if one enrolls individually and 900 pesos for each trainee if one registers with a group of at least five members, his online workshop is worth the price, particularly it includes certification.

Those who are interested in enrolling can Inn-sha-Allah register through me so I can pay a portion of their registration fee (1449 instead of 1500 and 870 instead of 900 pesos) and they receive my sample answers to the module's activities to give them some ideas on how to answer the assignments.

📝Quick lessons learned to share (and these are probably so obvious to many):
1. Before sending any amount via GCash to any stranger, double check the number of the recipient and analyze the user's profile. Lack of online friends or low number of friends may generally indicate fake or dummy accounts.
2. To reduce the impact of disappointment or frustration whenever you're going through certain challenges in this temporary life, always remember that there are plenty of others who were also scammed and lost large amounts of money because of some greedy liars whom Allah the Most Wise will Inn-sha-Allah deal with justly at the most ideal timing in this world and the afterlife.
3. Wanting too much of something when you already have something similar to it could at times be detrimental or disastrous. We can Inn-sha-Allah apply gratitude and contentment instead of always wanting more - more online courses which aren't free, more attempts to buy products in other countries for reselling etc.

Note: Sometimes Allah the Most Merciful decrees some amount of money to disappear from our lives to check if we're attached to this temporal dunya or if we truly prefer Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala. May Allah the Almighty replace all the things we lost in the past and present with blessings of actual value, ease all our circumstances and grant us only what's best for us in both worlds. Ameen.

Repeat "I'm fine, Alhamdulillah" while inwardly 

They may feel tired - mentally or emotionally,

And physically. If I were to define "fatigue",

I'd say: "increase in overwhelm, decreased energy..."

Forgetting certain facts at times, inability 

To focus when one is praying due to frequently 

Worrying, which results in lacking tranquility - 

Stress is like a star gaining swift popularity...

Indeed, it's something we require occasionally,

If through it supplications and Adhkaar are increased,

Maintain strong connection with Allah to shun defeat.

From Surah Al-'Asr we learn that those who believe 

In Allah the Almighty, steadfastly do good deeds, 

And remain patient are the ones from humanity 

Who in this world and the next attain true victory,

Calling all to the truth and patience similarly.

Recall that time when Fatima (RadhiAllahu 'anha) complained of fatigue 

To her father Prophet Muhammad (SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam) and asked if she

Could have a helper of her own but she just received 

Advice to thank Allah more, say Adhkaar frequently.

We can't always rely on people to fight fatigue,

As humans tend to get tired or sick eventually.

Their energy levels don't stay high eternally,

Often they may lose motivation or become weak -

So let's depend on Allah. Allah's Help we must seek.

Stress and tiredness are excellent opportunities 

To read the Noble Qur'an, enjoying inner peace,

And to pray more Sunnah prayers with humility - 

Pray Salat Ad-Duha and Tahajjud when many

Choose to sleep or busy themselves with matters worldly.

Trust me, the more we mention Allah's Names, the more we

Enjoy serenity mentally and faithfully.

The more we learn Islam and apply what we study,

The farther we are from fitna, spiritual defeat 

And wrong choices. Seek authentic 'ilm relentlessly.

Try Qailoolah, to not be overcome by fatigue -

Take naps in the daytime - twenty minutes or thirty.

Also take good care of your mind - research more and read.

Be choosey with what you do online. Ditch useless reels

And vlogs with actors. Ignore the toxic and surreal.

While it's fine to feel tired at times, excessive fatigue 

Could cause some to overthink with negativity -

Until some think of suicide, a major sin which we 

Should avoid. Only Allah is the One Who decrees 

Who from His slaves stay alive and who must leave early.

When Allah grants us brief trials, He certainly sees

How we have the ability to pass them with ease,

Or solve problems after analyzing carefully,

Or gain life lessons to share with others helpfully.

Dunya is imperfect, not heaven for you and me.

So once again, I shall ask you: "How are you, really?"

This time, say this "Alhamdulillah", confidently,

"Alhamdulillah for Allah's countless gifts, bounties,

And blessings in disguise such as stress or poverty.

I may not be wealthy, but there's lots of faith in me.

That real happiness and perfect bliss can only be

Found in Jannah Paradise far away from fatigue.

❎📸 One of the main reasons for covering one's face with the niqab face veil, besides trying to cover as much as one can of one's adornments to emulate how the pious wives of the beloved Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam were also covered modestly, is to please or serve Only Allah the Almighty by leveling up one's modesty and not surrendering oneself to the expectations of modern and misguided society. Whether you've been told you're pretty or if you think you look slightly average, regardless of the shape and color of your face, covering it with the niqab when outdoors isn't meant to show people you traveled to Saudi Arabia or imply you have some connection with Middle Eastern customs, but the purpose of your niqab worn in the presence of non-mahram males and when outside of your home is to value modesty for Allah's sake even further, like how some Muslims go out of their way to pray more Sunnah prayers before and/or after certain mandatory/obligatory prayers to gain more rewards, and when some Muslims put effort in fasting as many Sunnah fasts as they can fast for Allah's sake so their account of good deeds can be filled with more rewards etc.

My question then to some niqabi or munaqqabah or muntaqabah (sorry if I said the actual term incorrectly) would be: If your intention of wearing the niqab is to avoid revealing your beauty to non-mahram males in general, what is the point of uploading loads of photos of yourself and with other niqabi or munaqqabah Muslimahs almost every day, maybe not on your "my day" or story feed but on your timeline with posts mostly set to public so even strange males can spend several minutes staring at your beautiful eyes, curvy figure or decorated hands with vibrant henna or nail polish or numerous rings and bracelets dangling etc.? If you're married, then what sort of man is your husband if he is perfectly okay with his wife uploading tons of selfies on multiple social media accounts? "Dayyouth"?

If you're single, desperately wanting the attention of a potential zawj out there with big cash or fancy job titles, then don't expect to be married to a righteous and respectful Muslim man because real Muslim men would prefer modest Muslim women who refrain from posting selfies and casually adding non-mahram males to their list of online friends.

🏍️ Sharing some lessons learned Alhamdulillah so others won't follow my mistake of giving the rider the money before even checking the contents and reading the receipt or sheet of paper attached to the plastic bag.

Today we ordered some food from some South Asian restaurant and it so happened that I received a call from a rider. So assuming that the rider arrived I asked someone to collect the orders and give the payment 340 php while informing the rider he can keep the additional 5 pesos as a small tip. After some minutes when we thought we're about to have lunch we realized that the name of the customer isn't our name but somebody else's.

This was typed on the sheet of paper attached to the plastic bag of orders:

And what's funny is that the rider immediately accepted the 340 pesos without double checking the amount.

A few minutes later the rider delivering our orders arrived and sent us a photo of the orders but it was very unclear - like we couldn't tell the precise location of the orders where he accordingly dropped. It's funny he didn't even demand his payment which is 335 php nor did he ask anyone to contact us. He wasn't even answering my messages in English and putol putol Tagalog.

I contacted Food Panda and informed them about what happened and accordingly the amount was refunded but I never got the 340 pesos or 335 pesos back, not in the Food Panda wallet. Anyhow some lessons learned to share:

1. It's official that GrabFood is generally a gazillion times better than FoodPanda until FoodPanda does its best to improve in competency and reliability.
2. It's better to choose the Cash On Delivery option most of the time rather than paying for your orders in advance and hoping the rider delivers your orders to the correct destination.
3. Before giving the payment to the rider, it's better to double or even triple check the paper bags or plastic bag he or she gives you and make sure that the customer's name typed on the sheet of paper or receipt attached is correct.
4. Maybe Allah the Most Wise wanted us to try other dishes from the Indian restaurant we ordered from.
5. I tried my best to contact a Jenifer Omanglad and QaddarAllahu wa maa shaa-a fa'al I couldn't find any effective way to contact her. So wherever she is - I'm sorry we consumed your brunch or lunch or merienda today.

Sometimes Allah the Most Merciful decrees particular mishaps and misunderstandings to occur so some of us can share some valuable lessons learned with others, particularly those who may be new to using FoodPanda and GrabFood apps.

Don't be too quick in receiving the delivered items without checking the contents and don't rush in giving the rider the amount. Ask them what is the total amount of your orders and if his or her response doesn't match what you believe the price should be then perhaps that rider arrived at the incorrect address.

May Allah the Almighty grant us more wisdom and teach a lesson to all those who try to deliberately complicate our lives in any way, specifically regarding the incompetency of two riders from Food Panda. Ameen.

Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “People whose hearts are like the hearts of birds will enter Paradise.”

Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Two eyes are forbidden from being consumed by the Hellfire: an eye weeping from the fear of Allah, and an eye standing guard for Islam and its people against unbelief.”

Dear sisters in Islam of various ages and tribes,

Whether you're in college or you're done with high school life,

Or you manage a business, or you work late at night,

Or you're a busy teacher, nursing student, or wife,

Regardless of your background, please welcome some advice:

Sharing some advice, and Only Allah truly guides 

Whom He Wills to the truth and to Jannah Paradise:

Dear sisters, protect your hearts with Dhikr day and night.

Humbly say Du'a. Ask Allah for your needs and likes.

Say Du'a especially during Qiyaam Al-Layl.

When supplicating to Allah don't feel shy to cry.

Allah the Most Wise hears us and sees us at all times.

Even for minor and simple things never feel shy 

To ask Allah the All-Hearing for your needs and likes,

Like praying you'll marry a rich, righteous Muslim guy.

From the ways to shield your heart is to stay safe online.

Stay away from time-consuming reels and toxic vibes,

Far away from scammers, liars and clowns who backbite,

Away from doubtful content mostly made with AI,

And away from keyboard warriors who just waste our time.

~•~

Avoid all forms of fitna by choosing to be wise.

Be smart with spending money - myself I first remind.

Do charity when you can, and don't be way too kind - 

Too kind that you end up with debts or forget your rights.

Teacups can't fill any mug if they're empty inside.

~•~

Another way to safeguard your heart is simply by 

Abandoning every sin which Allah does not like.

Shun bid'ah, listening to music to pass the time,

Visiting fortunetellers who make money through lies,

Gambling and greedily desiring this worldly life.

~•~

More ways to ensure your heart is secure day and night,

With Allah's Will: Obey Allah. Respect Allah's Rights.

When trials sometimes arise, try not to question "why?"

But stay firm and pray that everything will be alright,

If not soon in this world then surely in Paradise.

Patiently accept Allah's Qadr when He denies, 

When He rejects, declines or withholds from us at times, 

Or when He delays certain things so we realize 

Our shortcomings, so to do Tawbah we get inspired,

And so we don't overestimate ourselves with pride.

~•~

Another thing to keep in mind if we wish to thrive 

With our faith Imaan levels remaining strong or high:

Continue seeking knowledge from sources which are right, 

Read the Noble Qur'an often, more verses recite,

Shield ourselves with Dhikr from magic and evil eyes.

~•~

Detach from shameful traits like envying others' lives,

Nosily spying on strangers online and offline,

Showing ingratitude - not easily satisfied, 

Disrespecting elders, to youngsters being unkind,

And immodesty in one's speech, actions and attire.

~•~

Don't copy silly trends. Your honor don't sacrifice.

All humans are imperfect. Don't chase applause and likes.

Don't follow crowds. Most people may not reach Paradise.

Don't go near injustice - even with those we despise.

What goes around comes around - if not on earth, next life.

Some signs of good souls with soft hearts filled with noor or light:

Shedding tears when they say Du'a, when they sympathize,

When reading the Qur'an, when the truth they recognize,

When forgiving a fellow Muslim after some fights,

And when yearning for entry to Jannah Paradise.

More signs of true believers with tender hearts alight:

One: Willingness to join circles where they are inspired 

To learn and share Islam, and serve Allah the Most Kind.

Two: Rest assured, they don't get jealous; they'll just admire - 

Look up to sincere Muslims not attached to this life.

Third sign of beautiful souls with tender hearts alive:

Eagerness to do more than what they should do. They strive 

To please Allah when opportunities they can find, 

Like praying Salat Ad-Duha, Tahajjud at night,

And fasting Sunnah fasts like in Dhul-Hijjah day nine.

May Allah Al-Ghafoor forgive us for all those times 

When we disobeyed Him when our Imaan wasn't high,

May Allah As-Samee' and Al-Haadi always guide 

Us to the correct belief and path to Paradise,

And May Allah keep us from being lost and unwise. Ameen.
