Note: Quick Reminders Regarding The Eid Khutbah

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
🗒️ Quick reminders regarding the Eid Khutbah (sermon / lecture):
1] It is not obligatory to attend the Eid Khutbah after praying the two Rak'ahs of Salat Al-'Eid, which consists of seven Takbeeraat (including the first Takbeer) in the first Rak'ah and five Takbeeraat in the second Rak'ah. However, it is more rewarding and beneficial for one's faith Imaan to attentively listen to the Eid lecture that usually takes less than 30 minutes.
2] While talking during the Eid Khutbah (sermon / lecture) is permissible according to some scholars, particularly when necessary, it is better to pay attention and strive to understand what the Imaam is addressing.
3] There is no sin upon a Muslim who listens to a part of the Eid Khutbah then decides to go someplace else early, since attending the Eid Khutbah is not mandatory. They may miss out though on attaining immense rewards for striving to follow the Sunnah of the noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam.
Allah the Almighty knows best.

📖 Umm 'Atiyyah RadhiAllahu 'anha narrated: 'We were ordered to come out on the day of Eid (to attend the Eid gathering), even the young girls and menstruating women from their houses. We would stand behind the men and declare the Greatness of Allah (say the Takbeeraat regularly) along with them, and supplicate to Allah along with them, hoping for the blessings of that day and its purification from sin.'

Note: Reminders Regarding Zakaat Al-Fitr

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
🗒️ Some notes on paying the Zakat Al-Fitr:
° Its ruling: Fardh / obligatory.
° Who should pay the Zakat Al-Fitr: All Muslims, whether young or old, male or female, who fasted and who did not fast. The parents should also pay on behalf of the fetus (or fetuses) in the pregnant mother's womb.
° Why Zakat Al-Fitr should be paid: To compensate for any shortcoming, improper behavior and inappropriate acts that one has committed during Ramadan. To obey Allah the Almighty and His noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam, instead of questioning Allah's legislations. So the wealthier Muslims benefit from the many rewards of doing charity for Allah's sake while the poor are not neglected and they have sufficient sustenance in the days after Ramadan.
° When to pay the Zakat Al-Fitr: Preferably in the earlier part of the morning before the Eid prayer (could be after praying Tahajjud) or the night before Eid Al-Fitr. You may pay the Zakat Al-Fitr one day or two days before the Eid prayers if it is more convenient.
° Who should receive the Zakat Al-Fitr: The poor and needy who are financially struggling (not one's own family members).
° How much should the Zakat Al-Fitr be: Exactly one saa' or two and a half kilograms (or three kilograms) of rice, wheat, barley, dates, flour etc. It must not be less than one saa'. It is okay if the Zakat Al-Fitr weighs more than three kilograms.
° Can the Zakat Al-Fitr be paid in the form of cash so the poor can use it in the manner which they believe is more useful for them? No. That would be going against what Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam commanded. Zakat Al-Fitr must be paid before praying the Eid prayers in the form of food, not money.
Allah the Almighty knows best.
📖 Ibn Abbas RadhiAllahu 'anhuma narrated: The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam obligated Zakat Al-Fitr as a purification of the fasting person from vain talk and misbehavior (during Ramadan), as food for the poor. Whoever pays it before the Eid prayer, it is accepted as Zakah. Whoever pays it after the Eid prayer, it is part of (Sadaqah) voluntary charity.

Grade: Hasan (Fair) according to Ibn Qudamah
📖 Ibn Umar RadhiAllahu 'anhuma narrated: The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam made it an obligation (fardh/waajib) to pay charity (Zakah) at the end of Ramadan, a portion of dates or barely, upon the slave and the freeman, the male and the female, the young and the old among the Muslims. The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam ordered it to be given before people go out for the Eid prayer.

Note: How To Tell If The Person You're Dealing With Online Is Confident Or Insecure

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
📑 Three signs that you're dealing with an insecure (unconfident) individual online:
1] They regularly post snide remarks, rude jokes indirectly referring to somebody whom they resent, and passive-aggressive status updates. Instead of confidently confronting the person whose actions upset them or sensibly keeping unpleasant thoughts to themselves, they feel the need to alleviate their injured pride by partaking in futile gossiping.
2] They purposely go out of their way to make you feel ignored, unappreciated or excluded, because someone else in the past caused them to feel worthless and devalued. "Seeing" your messages while deliberately refusing to communicate clearly with you online and offline is an awful habit which is characteristic of many insecure individuals.
3] They get all anxious when they notice you communicating with any of "their" friends. A person who wants to befriend you exclusively proves that their lack of confidence is undeniable when they're susceptible to inferiority complex and intense jealousy.
✅ Truly confident people:
1] Don't utilize social media as a virtual stage to demean any human being with the sole intention of relieving hurt emotions.
2] Avoid bullying, injustice, and acting like a disrespectful troll as much as possible.
3] Are not overly clingy or too selfish when it comes to networking. Whether you're amicable or hostile towards them, they remain emotionally stable, and they don't overreact if you display willingness to connect with their other friends or acquaintances.

📖 'Aisha RadhiAllahu 'anha narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, the believer may reach by his good character the rank of one who regularly fasts and stands for prayer (prays Tahajjud / Qiyaam Al-Layl often) at night."

Note: Some Of The Actions Which Do Not Invalidate One's Fasting

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Allah the Almighty knows best.
From the actions which do not break or invalidate fasting:
1] Bleeding from the nose or mouth and gums, as long as the blood is not intentionally swallowed.
2] Smelling perfume or food.
3] Using an inhaler.
4] Removing a tooth.
5] Trimming fingernails and toenails.
6] Undergoing a blood test.
7] Using ear drops.
8] Using eye drops.
9] Tasting food while cooking, to check if the dish is tasty enough, as long as one avoids eating and drinking.
10] Telling lies or using inappropriate language. While speaking offensively and lying do not break the fast, the rewards of fasting may decrease.
11] Using toothpaste and mouthwash, as long as one does not intentionally swallow the liquid.
12] Briefly kissing and hugging one's spouse, as long as it does not lead to actual ejaculation or sexual intercourse.
13] Taking a shower or bath, and swimming, as long as one does not purposely drink the water.
14] Cutting and trimming one's hair.
15] Applying henna, ointment, cream and lotion.
16] Putting on cosmetics or make-up.
17] Accidentally vomiting especially due to being overfull does not break one's fast.
🚫 Things that break one's fast, so you must make up for this missed or invalidated fasting next time:
1] Masturbation or touching oneself for sexual pleasure.
2] Sexual intercourse with one's spouse while one is fasting.
3] Deliberately eating and drinking. Licking lollipops and candy can invalidate one's fasting.
4] Cupping / hijaamah.
5] Injection taken as food supplement or for nutrition purpose.
Note: If a person woke up from a sexual or wet dream while fasting, their fast is still valid since humans have no control over the self while sleeping. They must however take the Ghusl bath to purify themselves well before they can pray and recite from the Noble Qur'an.
🔹 Tips to deal with temporary feelings of hunger while fasting:
1] Remind yourself that the main purpose of fasting is to obey Allah's Command to fast in the noble month of Ramadan, to fulfill the five pillars of Islam as a Muslim, and gain Taqwa.
2] Realize that when you're hungry, that's usually how many less fortunate or needy people and refugees worldwide feel. This sensation should motivate you to do more charity and be extra generous when you are capable of being kind.
3] While fasting, avoid watching mukbang videos on YouTube, cooking shows and ASMR video clips of people eating and drinking, as doing so may cause one's hunger and thirst to escalate.
4] Instead of imagining how nice it would be if you didn't have to fast, visualize and envision how wonderful it would be to join those believers who enter Ar-Rayyaan Gate in Jannah Paradise, a special place that is reserved exclusively for those who loved fasting.
5] Acknowledge the benefits of going through difficulties in life with patience and gratitude, recalling that when you encounter trials in dunya
Inn-sha-Allah your sins are being expiated or washed away.
6] When taking Suhoor, stay away from extremely salty food as they can make you feel thirsty easily in the daytime.
7] When feeling thirsty, remember your wish to be among those Muslims who are given the privilege to drink from the Kawthar spring, river or fountain of the beloved Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam.
Good deeds you do
Inn-sha-Allah for Allah's sake can benefit your soul in both worlds no matter how challenging some of them may be.
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven. Whoever stands in prayer during the Night of Decree (Laylatul Qadr) due to faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven."

Tips: Advice On How To Live Life Without Any Regret

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

📑 Some tips to live life for Allah's sake without regrets:
1] Strongly believe that Allah the Almighty has full control over everything and everybody in the whole universe. Nothing on earth occurs except that Allah the Most Wise willed and decreed it. If you wanted something to happen but it didn't take place, understand that Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala may have prevented it to protect you from its bad outcomes or to grant you something else which brings more benefit.
2] Learn from all of the mistakes you've committed, whether they were done out of ignorance, forgetfulness or willfully assuming you were correct. Take each mistake you did as an important lesson to not repeat in the future, knowing that the more errors you learn from,
Inn-sha-Allah the more you become wiser.
3] Imagine worst-case scenarios or think about other unpleasant circumstances which could have occurred if what you wanted but didn't receive actually took place. If you're from those believers whom Allah guides and loves, He Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala wouldn't allow you to own, keep or go through something that He knows can negatively impact your faith/Imaan or distract you from your journey to Jannah Paradise.
4] Patiently accept that what happened or didn't succeed is part of Allah's Plans. Know that wasting your energy on regretting what Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala destined or didn't decree won't solve any problem. Say Du'a, ask Allah the Most Loving for more guidance and look forward to earning rewards for striving to stay patient.
5] Contentedly remind yourself about the advantages of not having what you thought was good for you. For instance, failed friendships teach you to trust Only Allah the All-Knowing. By deciding to discontinue building connections with toxic individuals, you're shielding yourself from the likelihood of disclosing certain secrets to untrustworthy people who could use them against you, or you're given more valuable time to study about Islam and develop your confidence away from their distractions.

📖 Suhayb RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Amazing is the affair of the believer, as there is good for him in every matter. If he goes through difficulty, he shows patience and it is good for him."

Tips: Encouragement To Wake Up For Salat Al-Fajr Early

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

📑 Ways to wake up for Salat Al-Fajr early:
1) Assign somebody in your family or remind your spouse to wake you up when it's time for Fajr or Tahajjud prayer. Tell them it's okay if they splash or sprinkle some water over you, poke you or shove you until you get up, you'll be happy, not angry, that they followed your order to wake you up to pray on time.
2) Set your alarm clock to ring at about thirty or so minutes before the Adhan of Salat Al-Fajr. Your alarm clock shouldn't be placed by your bedside or right next to you because you may be tempted to turn it off and return to sleep. Put it on a table, cabinet or shelf next to the bathroom so when the alarm clock rings annoyingly, you can get up from your bed and walk towards it then proceed with doing wudhu/ablution.
3) If you don't have an alarm clock, you can use your cellphone or android gadget and download as many reliable alarm clock applications as you want. Set as many alarms as you can with different timings to make sure you actually wake up at least several minutes before Salat Al-Fajr.
4) You can stay awake throughout the whole night until you pray Salat At-Tahajjud then wait for the Adhan of Salat Al-Fajr. After you've prayed the Fajr prayer on time and said your morning Adhkaar, you can have a quick nap or sleep for around two or so hours prior to proceeding with your job, class, appointment etc. Remain energized by washing your face frequently and drinking lots of water.
5) Buy a rooster as a pet (not for eating), which can assist in waking you up around Tahajjud time and just before Salat Al-Fajr whenever it crows. Roosters are especially blessings since they have the ability to see Angels.
6) Sleep early after you've prayed Salat Al-'Ishaa and Sunnah Witr. The earlier you go to bed at night, the easier you can wake up before the Adhan of Salat Al-Fajr, particularly if you make it a habit of sleeping early. Oversleeping usually happens when the person slept late or was too stressed out and fatigued earlier that day.
7) Have the niyyah/intention before sleeping that you want to sleep early so you can wake up the next morning to pray the Fajr Salah on time. Try to also look forward to praying Sunnah Qiyam Al-Layl / Tahajjud if you can.
Allah will Inn-sha-Allah help you get up early when He sees how eager and enthusiastic you are in wanting to always pray Tahajjud and Fajr Salah on time. Say Du'as as well and supplicate to Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala that He helps you never miss any obligatory prayer from now on.
📖 Zayd Ibn Khalid RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Do not disparage the rooster, as it wakes you up for prayer.”

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated that Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "When you hear the crowing of the rooster, ask Allah for His Favour as it sees Angels and when you listen to the braying of the donkey, seek refuge in Allah from the shaytan for it sees a demon."

There are knots over him. If he washes his hands, a knot is untied. If he washes his face, a knot is untied. If he wipes his head, a knot is untied. If he washes his feet, a knot is untied. Allah the Almighty will say to those in the Unseen: 'Behold this servant of Mine, treating his soul and asking from Me. Whatever this servant of Mine asks Me, he will have it.'"

Tips: Some Advice On How To Avoid MBTI Mistyping

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

🗒️ Some tips to make sure that your MBTI personality type is accurate:
1] Take at least three different MBTI personality type quizzes online, if you can't pay for the official Myers Briggs personality assessment, and answer the questions as honestly as you can, in a way that each option you choose most accurately describes you, not how you'd want to be perceived by others. Compare your results.
2] After several weeks, perhaps when you're in a different mood, retake those MBTI quizzes which you took previously and then analyze your results.
3] Research about the 16 different MBTI personality types and their cognitive functions. Figure out which of the personality types you most resonate and identify with.
4] Think of at least one individual whose values, interests and attitude overall conflict with yours. Try to guess what their MBTI type is. Discovering the cognitive functions they mostly use can lead you to understanding what your cognitive functions are and finding your actual MBTI type. In my case, as an INTJ, I've realized that a lot of the individuals whom I can't really get along with tend to behave like stereotypical ISFPs or ESFPs.
5] Occasionally, when you're not busy, watch some informative videos on YouTube related to the 16 different MBTI personality types and their cognitive functions.
The more you understand about your personality,
Inn-sha-Allah the more confident you feel about the decisions you make and the farther you are from being easily influenced by critics' opinions of you. Lions that are aware of the fact they can't fly won't be negatively impacted by parrots making fun of their inability to take flight, just as a lone wolf wouldn't want to change itself if several monkeys laugh at it for not wanting to socialize with critters that enjoy bananas nearly day and night.

Tips: Some Advice On How To Deal With Actual Narcissists

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

🗒️ Three examples of behavior indicating that somebody is an actual narcissist (a person who seems so infatuated with themselves and doesn't care about people's needs at all):
1] An older woman who worked as a maid or housekeeper in the Middle East then after some years of working abroad she acts like a multimillionaire when she returns to the Philippines, being polite only with fellow snobs who are wealthy like her while obnoxiously showing uncivilized conduct to those whom she perceives as "inferior".
2] A "friend" who sometimes accompanies you to fancy restaurants and although you're the one who frequently pays for their meals, they eagerly upload photos of the beverages and edibles they've enjoyed to their social media accounts without mentioning or tagging you, as if they went dining solo and your money is theirs.
3] A group of status-conscious "friends" who started contacting you more regularly than before ever since you've established your own company or boutique, intending to take advantage of your financial success and generosity.
✅ Some advice on how to deal with actual narcissists:
1] As much as possible keep your distance from them online and offline. Don't bother browsing around their social media posts and comments nor inquire anybody about them. Avoid befriending real narcissists who try to build connections for their own selfish agenda.
2] If you have no choice but to begrudgingly hear them brag and boast in a social gathering, graciously smile at them with patience. Imagine being a kindergarten teacher patiently listening to a little kid desperately flaunting his scribbles as he makes up some fabricated stories.
3] Refrain from asking them personal questions if you can sense that their massive ego gets overly inflated every time they find opportunity to show off.
4] Don't let their tendency to treat you disrespectfully upset you. Simply pity them, understanding that they must be so emotionally disturbed that they feel desperate to bring you down to alleviate their distress or to distract themselves from their inferiority complex.
5] Allow their lack of good manners to inspire you to thank Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala that you're not like them in being insecure, immature and unprincipled. Unhappy individuals only sabotage themselves when they confirm their jealousy or insecurities by treating others unethically.

The emigrant (muhaajir) is one who emigrates away from evil.

Poem: Actual Victory Isn't In Attaining Many Worldly Joys But In Achieving Allah's Love And Entry To Jannah Paradise

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 Since Allah the Almighty made us to worship Him,
On Judgment Day we won't be asked about worldly things.
About how much we enjoyed life we won't be questioned,
But rather how we lived to worship Allah our King,
And how well we passed Allah's tests in avoiding sins.
~•~
Allah may not ask us about how much we've eaten,
How many cities we have traveled to, how often
We went shopping and filled wardrobes with fancy garments,
But we may be asked about how we earned the income
And how kind we were with the wealth Allah has given.
~•~
Allah may not question us if our education
Led to earning degrees, impressive social standing,
And opportunities to boost one's reputation,
But we may be asked on our intention in learning
And what we did with the knowledge Allah has given.
~•~
Allah may not inquire about how much amusement
And entertainment were gained in chilling with loved ones,
But Allah may ask about intentional actions,
Decisions made, deliberately stated statements,
And if we worked hard to please Allah or His servants.
~•~
Since we won't be asked about material enjoyment,
It makes no sense to stress over what's impermanent.
Awards or credentials won't carry significance
On the Day of Judgment. What can guarantee triumph
Are faith/Imaan, righteous deeds, and sincere intentions.

📖 Ibn Mas'ud RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The son of Adam (human being) will not be dismissed from his Lord (Allah the Almighty) on the Day of Resurrection until he is asked about five things: his life and how he lived it, his youth and how he used it, his wealth and how he earned it and how he spent it, and how he acted on his knowledge."
