Poem: What It Means To Be Steadfast And Consistent As A Muslim

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Seven cases to demonstrate what staying firm means,
To give examples on doing good consistently,
And show what it's like to strive for Allah steadfastly,
Unaffected by obstacles, rivals' enmity,
Distractions and moments when you doubt that you'll proceed:
~•~
First case: When a Muslimah, for Allah's sake only,
Wears the hijaab when outdoors and values modesty,
And she won't give up on it even if frequently
She receives insults from strangers, friends and family,
Since her beauty is reserved for her husband strictly.
~•~
Second: When a teen goes to school with unruly peers,
Surrounded by fitna while righteous friends aren't near,
And with their faith in Allah they choose to persevere,
Praying on time when the Adhaan in one's phone is heard,
And abstaining from actions whose essence is unclear.
~•~
Third: When two souls fall in love with each other deeply,
And they both know they're into each other mutually,
Yet since marrying is not a possibility,
For Allah they avoid one another equally,
Determined to control desires though it's not easy.
~•~
Fourth: When a Muslim prays Tahajjud regularly,
And on some nights Allah decrees that they'd oversleep,
They continue praying Qiyaam Al-Layl patiently
When they get the chance to rise despite feeling sleepy,
Because calling upon Allah is sweeter than sleep.
~•~
Fifth: When a worker is bullied by some employees,
Made fun of often for their looks, background or beliefs,
And they refuse to call in sick, so they strive bravely
To earn halal income to support their families,
Seeking help from Allah the Only One Whom they fear.
~•~
Sixth: When a lady wearing niqaab strongly adheres
To her style, while most judge her to be "extreme" or "weird",
And she maintains her identity so stubbornly,
Even if she's viewed as "strange" by her community
And she deals with criticism occasionally.
~•~
Seventh: When a loving wife, with savage loyalty,
Has divorced friends, news of divorce she oftentimes hears,
And she's one of her husband's wives, in polygyny,
She's consistent in respecting her spouse faithfully,
Never wanting to quit, as her love and care are real.
~•~
Some tips to do good deeds for Allah consistently:
Remember your true purpose - to serve Allah Only,
Joining those who are worthy of Jannah's grand entry.
Seek rewards from Allah; don't expect His slaves to cheer.
Consistency occurs when your goals are crystal clear.

📖 Sufyan Ibn Abdullah RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, tell me of a word in Islam I will not need to ask of anyone after you." The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Say, 'I have faith in Allah,' and then remain steadfast."

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Do good deeds only as much as you are able, for the best deeds are those done regularly (consistently) even if they are few."

📖 Anas Ibn Malik RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "You must not be impressed with anyone until you see their end. Verily, a servant may do righteous deeds throughout his life, or for a long time. If he were to die in that state, he would enter Paradise, but then he diverts himself and does evil deeds. Verily, a servant may do evil deeds for a long time. If he were to die in that state, he would enter Hellfire, but then he diverts himself and does righteous deeds. If Allah intends goodness for a servant, He puts him into action before death." They said, O Messenger of Allah, how is he put into action?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "He is guided to do righteous deeds and he holds firmly to it."

Poem: What Happens When Allah The Most Wise Blesses A Muslim With A Loyal Wife

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 The fact that it's allowed to remarry your spouse twice
Signifies the importance of: Sacrificing pride,
Valuing loyalty between the husband and wife,
And steadfastly forgiving so true love stays alive.
While divorce is halal, it's an issue I dislike.
~•~
Yes I can ditch my man if I'm tired of frequent fights,
His absence, silence, and strange conduct when he arrives,
I can demand that he divorces me anytime,
But I decide to love him for Allah till he dies.
My loyalty since we first married can't be denied.
~•~
If ever he declares that I'm no longer his wife,
For Allah's sake I'd stay firm, find ways to reunite,
Still love him from far distance, pray for him day and night,
Begging Allah to guide my ex-spouse to reconcile
So we can marry each other for the second time.
~•~
And if while divorced, I see proposals from some guys,
I'd unapologetically have them all declined.
No "I'll think about it", no "maybe", and no "next time",
So long as my ex-husband and I view the same skies
And some couples remind us of our former sweet times.
~•~
I believe that real love doesn't easily expire.
When it's for Allah, love grows stronger as time goes by.
Wherever in this world you and your soulmate reside,
If you both married for Allah, your love can survive
Even until your souls both reach Jannah Paradise.

📖 Jabir RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, shaytan places his throne over the water and he sends out his troops. The closest to him in rank are the greatest at causing tribulations. One of them says: 'I have done this and this.' shaytan says: 'you have done nothing.' Another one says: 'I did not leave this man alone until I separated him from his wife.' shaytan embraces him and he says: 'you have done well!'"

Note: What Our Initial Reaction To News Of A Muslim's Death Should Be

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 When we discover news that a Muslim has died, while that person has done or said some things in the past which a number of individuals may regard as disagreeable, as Muslims our initial reaction should be to say "Inna Lillaahi wa innaa Ilaihi raaji'oon" (we belong to Allah the Almighty and to Him Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala we shall return someday), instead of celebrating with "joy" and feeling relieved that they passed away. AstaghfurAllah Al-'Atheem.
"Alhamdulillah now that they're gone we can also rest in peace", "finally he's dead. He was a miserly guy anyway. Can't wait to marry husband number two", "life is so much easier without her. Just seeing her daily updates stresses me out with all the cringe", "you think his reckoning will be easy when he was clearly unfair with his four wives?" and "it's about time they left this world. At least I can stop worrying about how much money they still owe me." are offensive remarks which shouldn't come from any decent Muslim who is aware of the fact that Allah the All-Knowing will question us about what we chose to say and do. Negative thoughts or unpleasant memories we have concerning other Muslims must stay strictly confidential. Where a Muslim who has recently died may go to, whether Jannah/Paradise or Hell, is from the unseen matters which are known by Allah Only. A Muslim's death is an important reminder that we are next, that anytime and anyplace we must return to Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala. Thus we must try our best to prepare our meeting with Allah by doing as many good deeds as we can sincerely for His sake, saying the morning and evening Adhkaar, reciting Surah Al-Mulk before sleeping and in the daytime, and striving to treat our loved ones as though each moment could be the last time we may see them.

📖 Shaddad Ibn Aws RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: The Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said to him, "The best way to seek forgiveness is that you say: 'O Allah, You are my Lord (Rabb). There is no God but You. You (Allah) created me and I am Your servant, I am committed to You (Allah) and Your promise, as much as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil that I have done. I acknowledge Your favors upon me, and I acknowledge my sins, so please forgive me. Verily, no one forgives sins but You (Allah).'
The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Whoever says this in the day with conviction (with firm belief in it) and dies before the evening, he will be among the people of Paradise. Whoever says this in the night with conviction and dies before the morning, he will be among the people of Paradise."
