Poem: While Not Every Woman Gets To Choose Her Husband, A Muslimah Can Choose To Be Patient With The Man Whom Allah Chose For Her As Her Soulmate.

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 To the single ladies, the divorced and the widowed:
What are some signs to look for when a guy would propose?
First off, recall you're not in 'The Bachelorette' show.
Guys won't queue as you go 'Eeny, meeny, miny, moe'.
Decide to please Allah, not to appease your ego.
~•~
Questions, through your wali or guardians, must focus on
The man's 'Aqeedah/belief before his profession.
Does he try his best to pray on time as a Muslim?
What are his habits and does he earn halal income?
What's his agenda? Or is your body all he wants?
~•~
Upon inspecting him to check if the guy's okay,
In the presence of mahrams, don't mainly judge his face,
His height, how muscular he is, how much cash he makes,
But notice mutual attraction subtly portrayed
When you're both shy and nervous, while your heart palpitates.
~•~
Can you accept the suitor as your ideal soulmate,
Imagine him as a good dad to cute kids someday,
Take him as a partner whose presence strengthens your faith,
Or can you welcome the challenge, see this as a game
You're willing to play, to win entry to Jannah's Gates?
~•~
While some women married their men for their bank accounts,
Or their degrees, looks or status that made them feel proud,
You pray Istikhaarah first, then decide based on how
And if you'll be a better Muslimah through this spouse,
And if loving him brings you near Allah and Ferdaus.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "If someone proposes marriage to you whose religion and character satisfies you, then you should accept it. If you do not do so, there will be trials on the earth and the spread of corruption."

📖 Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "There is no Muslim who calls upon Allah, without sin or cutting family ties, but that Allah will give him one of three answers: He (Allah) will quickly fulfill his supplication, He will store it for him in the Hereafter, or He will divert an evil from him similar to it." They said, “In that case we will ask for more.” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Allah has even more."

📖 Aisha RadhiAllahu 'anha narrated: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, should women be asked for their consent (permission) before marriage?” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Yes." I said, “Indeed, sometimes a virgin is too shy to speak when asked.” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Her silence (not refusing nor complaining) is her consent (sign that she accepts the marriage proposal)."

Poem: Allah's Love Is More Important Than Popularity Among His Servants.

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 It's the absurdly ignorant who'd wrongly assume
That if you're so successful, your friends wouldn't be few.
When you go for grocery, tell me, what do you do?
Do you pick all products that are reachable to you,
Or do you pursue your needs as you carefully choose,
While items that don't amaze you are gladly eschewed?
~•~
The most authentic of people don't have many friends.
Trusting Allah, they're confidently independent,
Indifferent to changing their goals and temperament
To satisfy the wants of actors with bad intent.
Like them? They'll love you back. Hate them? That's not their problem.
~•~
Allah the Almighty sees what their dark hearts carried
Of ugly traits like doubts, suspicion and jealousy.
Their disgusting speech about you were by Allah heard,
So Allah decreed that such fake friends would disappear.
Their childish acts and gossip made their envy too clear.
~•~
Perhaps your uniqueness and formidable keenness
To please just Allah makes some feel intimidated.
Your passion to reach Jannah is why you're avoided
By insecure folks who are pros at getting jealous.
Allah can deal with them. On their self-hate don't focus.
~•~
Forgive your hateful critics. They're clearly struggling
With despising themselves which inspires their gossiping.
Be careful regarding who to love and confide in.
Fake friends harm more than those who abhor in the open.
We'll be fine with Allah's Love and survive trusting Him.

Poem: True Love For Allah's Sake Can Go On Till Jannah Is Promised

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 It's possible for two lovers to stay connected
If loving each other for Allah is authentic,
In spite of being physically separated
At times, their love stays intact, not easily damaged.
~•~
I may not see my husband on a daily basis,
And due to work he's not always communicative,
But since my love for him is real and not pretended,
I can handle his frequent silence and busyness.
~•~
To some, my spouse may not be visibly romantic,
And to others I'm a wife who's often neglected,
But I know him as the man whom I've gladly married.
All his gifts and sweet favors I still deeply cherish.
~•~
When there are times he can't answer my recent message
And couples remind me how my other half is missed,
I train myself to persevere, true love doesn't quit.
Allah loves the patient. With Sabr I'll manage this.
~•~
Imagine a friend whom you love since you both were kids,
From an accident their body became defective,
Though they can't recognize the memories that you've kept,
You remain as the friend who still cares and never left.
~•~
Same with my soulmate. His mistakes don't keep me upset,
His occasional absences cannot discourage
Me from willingly accepting this kind of marriage,
As I've loved him for Allah since the day we married.
~•~
Real love doesn't have an expiry date, don't forget,
Specially if it's for Allah and by Him it's blessed.
With Allah's Will and while trusting Him, I'll try my best
To help my spouse He sent me till Jannah is promised.

Ali Al-Qari said, "That she prostrates to her husband is due to the number of his rights over her and her difficulty in maintaining gratitude for them. This rhetorical point conveys the obligation of the wife to obey her husband in his rights. Indeed, prostration is not lawful to anyone other than Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala."

Note: The More We Prefer Jannah Paradise The Less We Desire Dunya's Glitter

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Among the traits of the believers whom Allah the Most Wise granted wisdom are their acknowledgment that this world's material pleasures are temporary and their preference to strive for Jannah instead of being too preoccupied with Dunya. The surplus wealth and expensive properties which the financially well-off like to hoard do not interest them. So if their materialistic friends brag about the exotic countries they traveled to, the fancy restaurants they tried out, and the new branded accessories or gold jewelry they bought, these self-aware individuals who are content with simplicity can't sense any feelings of jealousy. Rather than feeling sorry for themselves that they can't afford a luxurious lifestyle, they thank Allah the Almighty that He saved them from this Dunya's delusions, distractions and ephemeral temptations. A sign that Allah loves you isn't in making you rich or capable of enjoying your earnings in any way you like, but Allah softens your heart so it only prefers what Allah loves, while He grants you insight into taking the pathway that guides your soul to Paradise. An increase in your income simply inspires you to do more charity for Allah's sake, so your faith/Imaan is strengthened, your level in Jannah is elevated and your wealth stays purified.
📖 Abu Dharr RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "O Abu Dharr, do you say an abundance of possessions is wealth?" I said 'yes.' The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Do you say a lack of possessions is poverty?" I said 'yes.' The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam repeated this three times, then he said, "Wealth is in the heart and poverty is in the heart. Whoever is wealthy in his heart will not be harmed no matter what happens in the world. Whoever is impoverished in his heart will not be satisfied no matter how much he has in the world. Verily, he will only be harmed by the greed of his own soul."

Poem: Old Poem To A Sister In Islam Who Was Widowed Years Ago And To Widows Who Can Relate

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Dear widow, whose husband returned to Allah some time ago,
Who embarks on a journey of challenging tests and sorrow,
Recall how there are other widows too, so you're not alone -
Each one of them with unique struggles and stories of their own.
~•~
When you remember the joys you used to share with your late spouse,
The warmth of his love, and your worries when he wasn't around,
Remind yourself to trust Allah's Plans. Turn your frowns upside down,
Smile with patience, and stay grateful for the blessings you can't count.
~•~
Be patient with your man's passing, in Jannah you can meet him.
Just as you can manage not eating and drinking while fasting,
Like you're waiting for dawn to rise after the darkest evening,
You can embrace Sabr as you accept what Allah destined.
~•~
Dear widow, cry to Allah anytime and let your tears flow.
These droplets could make you deserving of Jannah as your home,
Where amazing times with loved ones can forever be bestowed,
And seeing the One Who made you is the best prize you have known.
~•~
Whether you remarry or choose to be a single mother,
What matter are your faith and conduct as this life's traveler.
Persevere through each exam with patience, Du'as and Dhikr,
Until you enter Jannah where souls can't suffer anymore.
~•~
📖 Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated that some people from the Ansaar asked the Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam and he gave them. Then they asked for charity again and he SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam gave them. Then they asked again and he SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam gave them until all he had was gone. The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "If I had anything, I would not withhold it. Whoever refrains from asking others, then Allah will make him content. Whoever would be independent, then Allah will make him independent. Whoever would be patient, then Allah will make him patient. There is no gift that is better and more comprehensive than patience."
