💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 What does joy look like? What does it mean to be happy?
Enjoying a delightful meal with your family?
Traveling abroad with them while your fam is complete?
Receiving messages from a crush surprisingly
And chatting as you laugh out loud occasionally?
~•~
Completing episodes from your fave TV series?
Discussing with close friends what you've learned from a movie?
Winning a game and knowing how clever you can be?
Listening to your favorite songs repeatedly?
Touching yourself indecently then feeling filthy?
~•~
It's not actual joy if it lasts momentarily.
It's not real delight if it's enjoyed only briefly.
Since dunya is a test, and this world's temporary,
And the pleasures on earth disappear eventually,
We believe that perfect bliss is in Jannah, not here.
~•~
Actions which are followed by instances when you feel
Guilty, disgusted by what you did ignorantly,
Or worried that some souls may expose your sinful feats
Aren't deeds that can guarantee joy felt inwardly.
Displeasing Allah with pride simply breeds misery.
~•~
To be happy from within, or contented at least:
Live life to please Allah and accept His Destiny,
Read the Qur'an often, pray on time and properly,
Study Islam, say Du'a and Adhkaar frequently,
Treat Allah's slaves well, and don't oppress anybody.

📖 Sa'd Ibn Abi Waqqas RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, which of the people are most severely tested?” The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "They are the prophets, then the next best (in terms of righteousness), then the next best. A man is put to trial according to his Deen/religion. If he is firm in his religion, his trials will be more severe. If he is weak in his religion, he is put to trial according to his strength in religion. The servant will continue to be put to trial until he is left walking upon the earth without any sin."
