Hadith: Important Du'a To Say Each Day And Night (sayyidul Istighfaar)

📖 Shaddad bin Aus RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The best supplication for seeking forgiveness ('Sayyid-ul- Istighfaar') is to say: 'Allahumma Anta Rabbi, laa ilaaha illaa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'alaa 'ahdika wa wa'duka mastata't, a'udhu Bika min sharri maa sana't, abu'u Laka bini'matika 'alayy, wa abu'u bidhanbi faghfir lee, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunooba illaa Anta. (O Allah! You are my Rabb (Lord, Cherisher and Sustainer). There is no true god except You. You (Allah) have created me, and I am Your slave, and I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You (Allah) have bestowed upon me, and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You (Allah) has the power to pardon).' He who supplicates in these terms during the day with firm belief in it and dies on the same day (before the evening), he will be one of the dwellers of Paradise; and if anyone supplicates in these terms during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be one of the dwellers of Paradise."

Poem: This Is How I Know For Sure That I Love My Husband For Allah's Sake

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

💌 If I were asked, "how do you know you love your husband?
How can you tell your love is true, you're not pretending,
And his profession isn't why you remain with him?",
I'd say, and Allah knows best how I feel from within,
"Loving him for Allah is what makes love genuine.
~•~
Though this bond at the moment lacks physical passion,
As Allah the Most Wise destined that my dear husband
Would work at a distance so I can't see him often,
I maintain connection by having his name mentioned
In frequent supplications, with my faith increasing.
~•~
I know I love my husband when I can imagine
A scene in which he could request for separation
While I'd calmly tell him that we should still solve problems,
And if he'd insist on leaving, I would keep loving,
Waiting for a fresh start and second wedding with him.
~•~
I know I love the human whom Allah has chosen
As my soulmate when, although most don't find him handsome,
To me he's good enough, a blessing that's inspiring,
And sweet puzzle to be solved with wisdom and patience.
When I'm able to defeat pride, I know I love him.
~•~
When attractive souls come and go in my surroundings
While my loyalty for my spouse stays unwavering,
And when I can't feel envious upon noticing
Other content couples, as real love is uncommon,
Know I'm not lying about loving my dear husband."

Tips: Nine Signs That You're Not A Narcissist Who's Arrogant And Insecure

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
🗒️ Nine signs which prove you are not a narcissist who's arrogant and insecure:
1] You believe that all humans are Allah's servants, you're not better than everyone, and there is something valuable to learn from every soul whom you're destined to meet.
2] With a genuinely grateful attitude, you're humble enough to thank people, whether Muslim or non-Muslim, for even the simplest favors and acts of kindness they've done.
3] You don't pridefully hesitate to apologize when you recognize you've made a mistake.
4] When you discover or learn something helpful, you occasionally share the useful information with others hoping that somebody out there could also benefit from it. You care for others' well-being, not only your ego and selfish progress.
5] You willingly forgive for Allah's sake, without being a pushover. Since you're capable of putting yourself in others' shoes and applying empathy, you're not the type of person who gets disappointed easily.
6] You intensely dislike gossip. If some individuals are discussing a person disrespectfully behind their back, you either leave the draining conversation or advise the gossipmongers to quit cowardly backbiting.
7] Now and then you research articles and videos on how to identify narcissists so you can learn what to avoid, as you'd hate to be one of them, or you've asked a number of loved ones previously for advice concerning practicing humility. Someone who is actually guilty of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) would lack self-awareness and willingness to change their toxic traits, because they like to imagine they're already "perfect".
8] You don't feel entitled nor act as if the people around you are obliged to treat you with VIP (very important person) treatment 24/7. An actual narcissist would feel infuriated if an acquaintance arrived from a long trip and didn't buy them any souvenir, give someone the silent treatment if the latter didn't answer their messages in a manner they desired, and obnoxiously spread rumors about you if you indicate you're not in the mood to chat.
9] Just as you never judge people according to their outward appearance, you don't oblige yourself to appear "flawless" or "on fleek" all the time. Real narcissists who conceal tons of insecurities despise facial blemishes, acne, weight gain, and "bad fashion sense". They're unaware that being desperate to look fabulous on the surface while snubbing those who haven't reached their level of "awesomeness" stems from low self-esteem.

Poem: Advice For Muslim Wives To Not Regret Their Marriage

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Some tips for wise Muslim wives to never feel regret,
To stay content with the romance Allah directed,
And upon noticing other blissful marriages
They're incapable of greeting envy or unrest,
As they accept Allah's choice and pray the love stays blessed:
~•~
Pray Salat Al-Istikhaara before you say yes.
Seek Allah's guidance first prior to getting married.
After carefully analyzing the benefits,
Ensure that you're marrying for the correct purpose -
To please Allah and serve Him with a friend who's trusted.
~•~
Occasionally remind yourself to not forget
The splendid and romantic things which your hubby did.
Bravely don't let pride stop you from wanting to forgive
Your other half who's like you - human and imperfect.
Protect your marriage for Allah, and you won't regret.
~•~
Admit that your spouse is from Allah a complex gift
That comes with countless tests, purposes, advantages,
Blessings in disguise, and merits to check your wit, grit,
And application of knowledge that you've collected -
The perfect gift meant to help you thrive and find success.
~•~
Firmly believe that marrying doesn't equate with
Ceaseless happiness or life free from stress and defects.
Respect your husband for Allah, and you won't regret
Your decision to flourish in a marriage that's blessed.
Dismiss shaytan's pleas to break what Allah connected.

Note: No, I Don't Regret Marrying My Husband For Allah's Sake.

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 "Do you regret marrying the man you're with today?" if I were asked that question, I'd say let's go way back to my teenage years in Saudi Arabia, when I rejected all the marriage proposals I got from several interested suitors, one of them being a childhood friend whom I used to play with when we were kids in Dammam and Al-Khobar, and another from a pious Pakistani family, whom we befriended through frequent attendance of regularly held Islamic lectures at WAMY (World Assembly Of Muslim Youth). The main reason why I declined each proposal was my inability to see the value of marriage at a young age; I figured I wasn't ready at all to move in with another guy and start a family at fifteen to eighteen years old. I was also suffering from anorexia and bulimia back then, for almost three consecutive years, which temporarily prevented me from thinking logically. The complicated phase I was in with eating disorders contributed to my indecisiveness, uncontrollable mood swings and "teenage angst".
Since I was a rebelliously unruly teen back in the days who showed loads of enthusiasm in trying out wild feats for the sake of temporary fun, my beloved parents didn't allow me to travel abroad for college. Instead, they had me taking online studies to major in Islamic education. Alhamdulillah although as a Muslimah I still have so much more to discover and learn, I'm grateful to Allah for guiding me to repent, study Islam and realize the value of marriage as well as patience. After completing my online studies, my parents encouraged me to marry my cousin who was then pursuing a course in medicine. In the beginning I refused, making as many excuses as I could, such as 'but he's my cousin!' and 'if he's a medical doctor he won't have enough time for me and our family' until Allah inspired me to patiently submit to His plan and decision. Through this marriage Alhamdulillah I wasn't an anorexic-bulimic anymore as my husband played a huge role in building up my self-esteem and overcoming certain insecurities. Another factor that led me to being unconditionally in love with him is his admirable tolerance regarding my overall weird personality, quirky habits and imperfections. He particularly intrigues me when he manages to cheer me up and make me laugh on stressful days. As for the sleepless nights when I usually stay awake, anxiously wondering how my husband's doing when he works far away, my faith/Imaan would be strengthened every time I say my heartfelt du'as and supplicate. Upon noticing various couples demonstrate their affection to one another in public, instantly I recall my husband and with much devotion, my loyalty to him only increases. In every instant of missing my significant other, I find patience followed by comforting gratitude when I cherish our worthwhile memories and romantic gestures from my dear husband. If Sabr (patience) and Shukr (gratitude) are noteworthy qualities that are constantly developing in your marriage, then accept the fact that your bond is Inn-sha-Allah an enormous blessing, more so if staying married protects you from indulging in prohibited relations. Alhamdulillah I don't have any remorse, not one bit, in marrying my spouse, because I married him solely for Allah's sake, and especially to complete the other half of my Deen. My husband I believe is Allah's response after I sincerely prayed Salat Al-Istikhaara years ago prior to agreeing to be his first wife. Thus, I refuse to quit loving him for Allah's sake until Allah takes one of our souls away. When you truly love your other half, age, weight and distance are just numbers. Even if you may not always spend quality time with your spouse in daylight nor sleep beside him in bed each night, with Allah's Will just as He was capable of connecting you strangers to become husband and wife, He can reunite lovers again in Jannah Paradise with eternal delight.
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.'
