Tips: Seven Things You Stop Doing When You've Become More Mature Emotionally

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
📑 Seven things you stop doing when you've become more emotionally mature:
1] You stop watching meaningless vlogs and nosily spying on the lives of people who have absolutely nothing to do with you.
2] You stop arrogantly making fun of people for how they speak, dress and behave. If you're genuinely concerned about someone's welfare, you'd advise them one-on-one and avoid publicizing their mistakes. Rather than laughing when an individual errs and slips, you helpfully defend them or sympathize readily.
3] You stop insisting on winning every single debate. If you are unable to convince somebody to correct a misconceived notion or can't persuade them to do something which you believe can benefit them, you'd walk away from the childish squabble and futile drama.
4] You stop obliging yourself to verbalize every single feeling you have. With enough self-discipline, Alhamdulillah, you know when to speak up and when to keep certain thoughts undisclosed.
5] You stop constantly comparing your overall progress in life as a Muslim to others' journeys. A person's competence in a particular field does not imply you're deficient or "not good enough". Instead of jealously competing with other individuals, you focus on appreciating and utilizing the blessings which Allah the Almighty chose to give you, to pass Allah's tests and thrive in both worlds.
6] You stop expecting to be liked by every single living being you meet, understanding that humans have a right to select who they can socialize with willingly, just as it is your prerogative to maintain a connection or discontinue it justifiably.
7] You stop trying to prove to everybody on social media how much you're thriving financially. Regularly uploading photos of the meals and beverages you enjoy is something you don't do anymore, unless your niyyah/intention of posting the food pictures is to share an interesting recipe or promote a halal restaurant supportively.

Poem: No Regrets In Cancelling A Friendship To Be Closer To Allah The Almighty

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

📑 Note to ex-friends whom I've left and thought could be trusted:
You can either regret for taking us for granted,
For letting me realize it was all one-sided,
Or you can gladly accept what Allah selected,
That a date has been set when we'd be disconnected.
~•~
I tried my best, to tell you the truth, I truly did,
To keep the friendship before I figured "Forget it".
Quiet efforts to stay in touch were loudly dismissed,
Deep topics to discuss and places we could visit
Were not accomplished, so I had you easily ditched.
~•~
I detested the moments when I would feel anxious
Prior to making attempts at wanting to connect
With somebody who didn't seem communicative.
It felt as though I was lecturing to an object
And uttering each letter never brought benefit.
~•~
So I walked away for Allah's sake, without regret,
From someone who returned my care with clear unkindness.
Clearly your soul and mine don't get each other's language.
Attempting to understand you just creates conflict.
Feel free to walk downhill. Watch me relish self-respect.
~•~
Don't fret. Your secrets are safe with me. I won't gossip.
In fact, I'll do whatever I can with eagerness
To avoid saying your name in private and public.
Safely I assure you that your presence won't be missed.
Choices made to please Allah don't instigate regret.

📖 Usamah ibn Zayd RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: I said, “O Messenger of Allah, I do not see you fasting any month as much as you fast during Sha'ban.” The Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "It (Sha'baan) is a month which (a lot of) people neglect between the months of Rajab and Ramadan. It is a month in which the deeds are raised to the Rabb (Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala) of the worlds and I like for my deeds to be raised while I am fasting."

Note: Five Signs That You Are Contented With Being Your Husband's Loyal Wife

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
📑 Five signs that you're completely contented with your marriage and you don't regret marrying your husband at all:
1] It's easy to love your husband for Allah's sake sincerely and unconditionally. When he makes mistakes, you don't feel upset easily and whether he apologizes immediately or eventually, you forgive him to please Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala readily.
2] Seeing other couples portray their affection to one another, attending weddings and listening to a friend gush over how much she loves her husband regularly can't arouse jealousy but rather they inspire you to love your husband even more for Allah's sake with admirable loyalty.
3] You don't have a single crush on anybody besides the man whom Allah the Almighty wisely chose as your husband and soulmate. If ever you find some individuals attractive for their steadfast faith/Imaan, confident personality and integrity, you're capable of avoiding needless interactions with them faithfully.
4] You wholeheartedly believe that even if you couldn't spend time with your husband as often as you liked, as you're in a polygynous marriage or he works in a different city, he's the only guy on earth whom you'd stay married to for as long as he's alive. His frequent absence doesn't cause your love for him to decrease. Thanking Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala for having a lovable husband is something you do dedicatedly.
5] You can imagine unapologetically rejecting every marriage proposal from interested suitors if ever your spouse asked for divorce, and you'd await his request for a second or third wedding with him patiently.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.' Rather say: "Allah has decreed what He wills." Verily, the phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of shaytan."
