💌 Some people think of committing
suicide when they've given up on living, assuming there's no way out of their
problems, not knowing that deliberately killing oneself in Islam is a major sin
which is haraam/forbidden. The similitude of a person taking their own life is
that of a student on exams day, and instead of completing their test, they
crumple their exam papers and storm out of the examination room, not bothering
to answer the questions with careful thought and patience.
Whenever you feel alone, fed up with a stressful lifestyle, or you're facing all sorts of difficulties, it is your duty as a Muslim to call upon Allah the Most Merciful through frequent Du'as, and calm your soul by pushing yourself to do more good deeds like doing Tawbah/repentance, saying Dhikr often and listening to tranquil Qur'an recitations. A lot of youths, even from among talented and popular celebrities, took their own lives due to what hateful critics said about them or they were dealing with issues that brought about depression and dissatisfaction.
The stronger your connection is with your Creator Allah the Almighty, the more firm your faith/Imaan gets and the more resilient or formidable you become gradually. People's criticism won't bother you, since you're striving to live a life which pleases only Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala. You're not here for the approval of society. Even if certain members of your relatives seem uncaring or unsupportive, oftentimes due to unresolved misunderstandings, egoistic pride or commonplace jealousy, you can still go on trying your best to be the kind of Muslim servant whom Allah wants you to be.
Suicide is never the solution to temporary worries and tough situations. Purposely killing oneself while being aware of this wrongdoing's prohibition is one quick ticket or shortcut to Hell, if Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala doesn't forgive the Muslim who was tested so that they could call upon Him Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala to listen to their supplications.
Don't forget that the most tested of Allah's servants are Allah's Prophets, especially His beloved Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam, and those who are very close to Him. The higher your level of faith/Imaan, the more challenging your examinations in this fleeting dunya become. Thus, don't automatically assume that if some Muslims you know are having financial problems, struggling with some crisis, suffering from an illness, doing whatever they can to survive as the black sheep of their family or they're an outcast in specific communities, Allah the Most Wise dislikes them, no. Although they may be ostracized, abandoned or viewed negatively by many people on earth, they're probably special allies of Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'aala whom Allah loves. Because Allah loves them, it's part of His Qadr/Destiny to let them experience the complexities of this transitory world so they detach themselves from it and strive to be worthy of attaining eternal bliss in Jannah Paradise.
📖 Anas Ibn Malik RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "None of you should wish for death due to a calamity that has afflicted him. Yet if he must do something, let him say: 'O Allah, keep me alive so long as life is good for me, and cause me to die if death is better for me.'"

📖 Narrated Thabit Ibn Ad-Dahhak RadhiAllahu 'anhu, who was one of the companions who gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam underneath the tree (Al-Hudaibiya): Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Whoever swears by a religion other than Islam in case he is telling a lie, he is really so if his oath is false, and a person is not bound to fulfill a vow about a thing which he does not possess. And if somebody commits suicide with anything in this world, he will be tortured with that very thing on the Day of Resurrection; and if somebody curses a believer, then his sin will be as if he murdered him; and whoever accuses a believer of Kufr (disbelief), then it is as if he killed him."
