💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 As Muslims we're in a constant battle for Allah,
Against shaytan with our shields being faith and Taqwa,
With weapons that include patience, Dhikr and Du'as,
And a mission to be admitted straight to Jannah.
~*~
Use your mind which Allah gave. Don't listen to your heart.
The heart is where shaytan whispers schemes that tear apart
Integrity and dignity, so morals depart.
It's the fragile body part which often wants what's dark.
~*~
When you're "in love" with someone, when crushing really hard,
Seek Allah's Guidance, and have shaytan's waswaas unheard.
Redirect your attention to Allah Whom you fear.
Through Tawbah and thoughts of death, bad thoughts can disappear.
~*~
When shaytan tries to tempt you with evil fantasies,
Distracting you with tracks to zina so stubbornly,
Drawing images of those you adore wrongfully,
Defeat him with Istighfaar, recall he's enemy.
~*~
Twenty minutes of haraam make-out isn't worth it.
Desire to be touched by your crush should be avoided.
You're Muslim, not an uncontrolled beast, be reminded.
Adhere to what's halal, whether single or married.
~*~
Not all feelings that you feel must be acted upon,
Especially if an emotion leads to what's wrong.
While there's no problem in admiring certain persons,
Don't let your liking be transformed to vile temptations.
~*~
As you trust Allah always and pray He keeps you whole,
Have self-control. Prevent shaytan from harming your soul.
Accept how love-related tests can be tough trials,
And know Allah loves you. Strive for Jannah, not this world.
