Poem: To Brothers In Islam Searching For Good Wives

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 To brothers in Islam who are eager to marry,
Ready to find a soulmate and start a family:
Note - Sending DMs to female users randomly
Or flirting isn't the right way to matrimony.
~*~
Nothing can be gained by chatting with non-mahram girls
Except wasted time on haraam relationships built,
Which entertains shaytan whenever you court or flirt,
Flattering non-mahram ladies with beguiling words.
~*~
Be a real man, not any woman's toy or plaything.
If you're serious about marriage, approach her parents
Or guardians, trusting Allah, with sincere intention,
Longing to marry to complete the half of your Deen.
~*~
Pray Salat Al-Istikhaarah before deciding,
Seek Allah's Help and Guidance prior to proposing.
Speak to the girl's parents or guardians with confidence,
Instead of first courting her through instant-messaging.
~*~
Joy can't be found in succumbing to wrong temptations.
Sinful talks online and offline that are forbidden
Only lead to distruction or hearts getting broken.
So if you got girlfriends or chatmates, break up with them.
~*~
Leave those who are unlawful to you, for Allah's sake.
Choose halal love obtained in marriage. Secure your faith.
Save your loyalty for your spouse, and patiently wait.
Whatever you ditch for Allah won't leave you dismayed.
~*~
Have a goal to stay chaste. Prefer Jannah, not this world.
Lower your gaze to maintain the wellness of your soul.
If getting married is currently not possible,
Then fast often, say more Du'as, and keep things halal.
~*~
📖 Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "O young men, if you are able to support a wife, then get married. Verily, it lowers the gaze and guards chastity. Whoever is not able to do so, he must fast (Sunnah fasts regularly) as it will restrain his desires."
