Poem: Be So Grateful You Can't Get Jealous.

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 The more grateful you are to Allah for what He gave,
The less you'd compare your life to others' lives with hate.
Jealous vibes are clear when users post status updates
That offend or degrade those whose achievements they crave.
~•~
If online or offline you can't say anything kind,
Be quiet instead of bashing others from behind.
Envious energy is obvious when one backbites
And gossips about someone one can't help but despise.
~•~
A wise person keeps their mouth shut if they can't be nice.
No reason for one to speak if one's speech carries lies,
False allegations, assumptions, reasons to backbite,
Jokes that prove self-hatred, or insults that don't inspire.
~•~
It's not cool but deplorable to see folks giggle
While mocking those they envy and consider hateful.
Of their own flaws and imperfections they're forgetful.
Sins are what they gain when backbiting about people.
~•~
Are they that miserable they're desperate to spread their blues
By spreading rumors so their low self-esteem is soothed?
Their proneness to be passive-aggressive simply proves
They're unsatisfied with themselves and so insecure.
~•~
Confident souls who are contented with Allah's gifts
Refuse to engage in immature games and gossip.
They don't feel inferior nor threatened by friends' success,
They're focused on serving Allah and passing His tests.
~•~
Train yourself to be happy for Muslims' happiness,
Well aware of the truth in Jannah is actual bliss.
Let your gratitude to Allah be always expressed,
And toss out jealousy, so your heart can gently rest.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Beware of envy, for it devours good deeds just as fire devours wood or grass."
