May Allah the Almighty grant us more beneficial knowledge, accept our good deeds, forgive our mistakes, protect us from fitna, and join us with the righteous believers in Jannatul Ferdaus. Ameen.

Poem: Ways To Connect With Certain People

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Allah knows best. At times we may dislike some people
Who remind us of those who did things that were hurtful,
Or rumors spread about them make us feel distrustful,
Or we can't connect with them if they don't seem helpful.
~*~
Instead of instantly judging and being hateful,
If we're interested in connecting with some souls,
We can get to know them without being critical,
And try to strengthen the bond till the trust is mutual.
~*~
Patiently endeavor to understand potential
Friends through frequent dialogues and visits informal.
Liking them without knowing them is impossible.
So try to get to know them whenever possible.
~*~
Don't judge them by lies told by those unreliable,
Who gossip due to envy or to stir up trouble.
Observe how they treat you when you don't appear useful.
Check if their words and actions don't clash with your morals.
~*~
Qualities of those who to us become likable:
They bring us near Allah, and help us achieve our goals.
They inspire us to strive for Jannah, not for this world.
In maintaining the friendship they put sincere effort.
~*~
From the gifts they give that make their vibes enjoyable:
The gift of knowledge, of sharing, being teachable,
The gift of caring, offering what's beneficial,
And defending, protecting friends from what is harmful.
~*~
Thus before criticizing any individual,
Ensure the info you gained about them are truthful.
Interact with them directly, together travel,
Ask to clear up doubts until you learn they're valuable.
~*~
