May Allah the Almighty grant us more beneficial knowledge, accept our good deeds, forgive our mistakes, protect us from fitna, and join us with the righteous believers in Jannatul Ferdaus. Ameen.

Poem: Beware Of The Sin Of Backbiting.

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Allah knows that from among His slaves are those who try
To be religious yet oftentimes they would backbite,
Mistreat and avoid fulfilling other Muslims’ rights,
Towards apparent sinners they’re hateful and unkind.
~•~
Some females from them may wear niqab, dress modestly,
And pray on time yet they make fun of non-hijabis,
Prideful of how they never do music and movies,
While they’d gossip about wrongdoers so shamelessly.
~•~
Some males may attempt to look pious from the outside,
Growing a beard, walking to the Masjid day and night,
Yet with their wives and children they seldom joke and smile,
With words like “loving” and “caring” they can’t be described.
~•~
Being a Muslim doesn’t mean not showing mercy
To those who didn’t learn or study Islam fully,
But we should be helpful to our best ability,
Not harming people, and recall how we used to be.
~•~
Surely you don’t want that when Judgment Day would arrive
You find most of your good deeds sent to those you despised.
So quit backbiting. Let your manners be rectified.
Stay away from harming when you advise and remind.

📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu ‘anhu narrated: Allah’s noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, “Do you know who is the bankrupt?” They said, “The one without money or goods is bankrupt.” The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Verily, the bankrupt of my nation are those who come on the Day of Resurrection with prayers, fasting, and charity, but also with insults, slander, consuming wealth, shedding blood, and beating others. The oppressed will each be given from his good deeds. If his good deeds run out before justice is fulfilled, then their sins will be cast upon him and he will be thrown into the Hellfire.
