Poem: Why We Feel At Ease With Certain Souls

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 When Allah destines to connect you with certain souls,
You click with them easily since you share the same goals,
Lots of common interests and relatable roles,
Free from envy, not looking down on each other's flaws.
~*~
Because you love them for Allah's sake, the bond stays strong.
You don't need daily updates for you to get along.
You're unable to feel jealous of blessings they own,
And you readily forgive them for their faults or wrongs.
~*~
One reason you like them is they bring you near Allah.
Talking to them is never a burden nor fitna,
But a gift that raises your self-esteem and Taqwa.
Rather than gossiping, you're inspired to do Da'wah.
~*~
Be grateful to Allah if you've found at least one soul
Who inspires you to make Jannah/Paradise your goal,
Who wants you to learn Islam, who can't laugh when you fall,
And who includes you in Du'as when trials befall.
~*~
Thank Allah if those soulmates include your loving spouse,
Or your parents and kids, though they're not always around.
Pray to Allah to protect them and keep their faith sound,
And that you all reunite in Jannatul Ferdaus.
~*~
