💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Self-reminders: Since you were born to serve just Allah,
Don't worry about those who left. It's fine to detach
And let go of people who became part of your past.
Accept Allah's Qadr. Allow your heart to relax.
~*~
Potential friends who turned into strangers once again
Are blessings that train you to get rid of attachments
Which don't benefit your faith/Imaan and well-being.
Through them you learn patience with what Allah has chosen.
~*~
Not everyone you're kind to may return your favors,
Not all can appreciate what your skills can offer,
And though some show hatred when you try to share laughter,
Their disinterest shouldn't make your soft heart harder.
~*~
Be friendly with each soul you're destined to encounter,
Not to take advantage, but to seek Allah's Pleasure.
For Allah's sake sincerely maintain good character
With every loved one, relative, colleague and stranger.
~*~
People who were unkind, who treated you unfairly,
Who stole from you, betrayed, or talked about you badly,
Are hard lessons and examples of how not to be -
They taught you to leave their bad traits and never mistreat.
~*~
Thank Allah for those souls whom He wanted you to meet.
Although moments spent with them were awkward or so brief,
The things they said or did transformed you permanently.
Their hurtful choices caused your self-respect to increase.
~*~
Respect yourself enough to release their influence,
Grant distance while maintaining polite manners with them.
Don't let their estrangement bring fear of loving again.
Evolve from heartbreaks. Be kind, careful, and forgiving.
~*~
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.' Rather say: 'Allah has decreed what He wills.' Verily, the phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of shaytan."
