Poem: Be Strong Enough To Not Be Affected By Your Foes

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 Notes to self: Stay strong for Allah's sake. Forget your foes,
Forgo lame insults and lies from critics who don't know
You, and who criticize you to inflate their ego.
Keep in mind, while they do not matter, they further show
Their awful traits to abandon so you won't stoop low.
~*~
Understand their disrespect and misconduct imply
Their folks failed at teaching manners since they were a child,
Their insecurities or self-hatred makes them wild,
Or they simply mistreat you as they're jealous inside.
Happy people uplift others, not hurt nor despise.
~*~
Never listen to so-called advice of those who lie,
Who fail to recognize 'true love', who tend to backbite,
Who judge others' flaws while forgetting defects they hide,
Acting like they're flawless when their faults can't be denied.
Disregard nonsense from clowns on whom you can't rely.
~*~
Often when haters would insult, their envy is known.
When they gossip or spread rumors, cowardice is shown.
Opponents who bring you down may see themselves below
Or beneath you, when they find you achieving your goals.
Ignore their jealousy. Move on. Good morals uphold.
~*~
Even if you were among the nicest souls on earth,
There'd still be numbers who can't discern your value/worth.
Let the insecure express their misery with mirth,
As they miss out on your love, they sabotage themselves.
Focus on loving Allah. Ditch those not self-assured.
~*~
📖 Abu Huraira RadhiAllahu 'anhu narrated: Allah's noble Messenger Muhammad SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "The strong believer is more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, but there is goodness in both of them. Be eager for what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not be frustrated. If something befalls you, then do not say: 'If only I had done something else.' Rather say: 'Allah has decreed what He wills.' Verily, the  phrase ‘if only’ opens the way for the work of shaytan."
