بسم الله. ربي زدني علما. امين
May Allah the Almighty grant us more beneficial knowledge, accept our good deeds, forgive our mistakes, protect us from fitna, and join us with the righteous believers in Jannatul Ferdaus. Ameen.

Poem: The Wise Are Those Who Prepare Themselves For Death.

💐 In The Name Of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful
💌 The ability to think is a test from Allah.
Intellect is nothing if it leads not to Jannah,
Or if it misleads one to get attached to dunya.
When not used for Allah, cleverness may be fitna,
A distraction from one's life goals, purpose or Salah.
~*~
Smartness doesn't just describe thinkers with high IQ,
Who speak so eloquently, win debates, or act shrewd,
Who earned doctorate degrees or type faster than you,
But the truly wise serve Allah, know Islam is true,
Prepare for death and Jannah through good deeds they can do.
~*~
There's no use in knowing myriad words and languages
Nor mastering at art, science or mathematics,
If one is unaware of Islam's rules and basics.
To gain success in both worlds, seek authentic knowledge
Of Islam. Time spent on learning is never wasted.
~*~
Intelligence is manifest in souls who study
More about the Deen and Sunnah with sincerity,
Applying what one has studied for Allah Only.
In spite of committing errors occasionally,
Being Muslim inspires one to repent frequently.
~*~
Be smart enough to recognize truth, reality,
And distinguish what lasts long from what's temporary,
So your efforts are meant to please Allah sincerely,
Indifferent to low standards of society,
Intelligently striving to earn Jannah's entry.

📖 Ibn Umar RadhiAllahu 'anhuma narrated: A man said, "O Messenger of Allah, which of the believers is the best?" The Messenger of Allah SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Those with the best character." The man said, "Which of the believers is the wisest?" The Prophet SallAllahu 'alaihi wa sallam said, "Those who remember death often and have best prepared for it with good deeds; those are the wisest."
